  The Colossi of Memnon are two enormous stone statues of King Amenhotep III, the only remnants of a once complete mortuary temple. These statues, crafted from quartzite sandstone originally found in Cairo, were transported 700 km to Luxor. Known as the Colossi of Memnon, they stand about 18 meters high and are the remains of what was once the largest complex on the West Bank, constructed by Amenhotep III. Around noon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor, followed by a visit to the Temple of Karnak, the largest ancient religious site in the world.

• Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The Temple of Hatshepsut
  The Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most stunning and well-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt, located in Luxor. Built on three levels with two wide ramps connecting them, the temple rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces, blending seamlessly with the limestone cliffs of the Theban Mountain, as if nature itself crafted this extraordinary monument.

• Temple of Karnak - Around noon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor. In the afternoon, take a city tour of Luxor by horse carriage to experience authentic Egyptian life, followed by a visit to the Karnak Temple.

Conclude your day with an optional traditional felucca tour in the late afternoon, a perfect way to unwind while observing the traditional rural life along the riverbank.

If you finish early, there may be time for shopping for souvenirs in Luxor’s expansive souq, or if you prefer, take some time to explore central Luxor on your own. Finally, at 5:30 pm, your private car will pick you up to return to Marsa Alam, arriving back at your hotel by 9:00 pm.
