Beautiful experience - Unique experience to do definitely if you are around Marsa Alam. The hours of travel are many but worth it. The guide in Italian is super prepared and explained very well all the historical details that interested us. Moreover, although long, the journey took place in maximum comfort.

Perfectly organized private day tour to Luxor – highly recommended! - We (two adults and a fifteen-year-old) took this tour from El Quseir on April 24 and were thoroughly impressed. Our driver, Mahmoud, picked us up right on time at 5:00 AM from our hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned car. He drove calmly and safely, and we had pleasant stops along the way for refreshments and restroom breaks. We were back at the hotel by 7:30 PM and still had plenty of time for dinner – which was important to us, as many other tours take 20 hours or more. In Luxor, we were welcomed by our German-speaking guide Ahmed, who was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The itinerary was perfectly planned: the impressive Karnak Temple, a relaxing boat ride on the Nile, a well-organized buffet lunch by the river (tasty and quick), the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshepsut, a visit to an alabaster workshop, and finally the Valley of the Kings. We visited four tombs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun – truly a highlight! Everything went smoothly and we got to see a lot. The tour was top-notch and culturally enriching. We can absolutely recommend it to anyone staying at the Red Sea and interested in Egyptian history. Special thanks to Ahmed, our fantastic guide in Luxor!

Exhilarating ancient Egypt tour - The travelling from Marsa Alam to Luxor was exhausting, but we had modern car and good driver. Provided touris guide was a living lexicon on two legs. Recommending it, amazing feeling to be personally on a place, which has so old historical background.

Super day in Luxor - Had a very beautiful and varied day in Luxor. Very nice Dutch-speaking guide/Egyptologist (Ahmed) and also an excellent, nice driver (shaba) It was very nice that we were not with a group, so we could see a lot quickly. Would definitely recommend them!

The Luxor tour was very good and our German speaking guide was great. - The individual locations of the tour were Stunning and our guide, who spoke very good German, really nice and had a lot of knowledge about Egyptian history. Unfortunately, we had to change the vehicle once on the outward journey, as we had a small accident, which made it impossible to continue driving. Thus, a replacement vehicle with driver has stepped in. Basically we were very satisfied that we could still do the tour but unfortunately the replacement driver, with whom you are traveling for a very long time, did not know English or German and the ride went almost without words. We stopped briefly on the outward and return journey to take a break, where ,probably cooperation partners, the organizer waited and tried to pull one over the table. We should have 100€ for 3 magnets and a keychain set and last but not least tip for ourselves... Please be careful and don’t let anything talk you up. The driver just got out and said "drink" and wasn't seen for the next 20 minutes. At least he could tell. Questionable... In Luxor itself you have to pass a bazaar at every single sight where once again all traders including their children immediately rush to sell their stuff... Don't fall for the €1 trick. They trick you into thinking things cost 1€ and later they want 20€. Since our guide and shared this already, we were also well prepared here. Care must also be taken in the graves. If you let yourself be told or shown anything, tips will be demanded of you. Even for someone taking a picture of you. And don't let any security staff lure you behind any barriers... They charge money for it, too. Every single action on your part is done wisely.

Exceptional driving... Transport to forget - The driver arrived 45 minutes late, without warning and not answering several calls. We tried to contact the tour operation via WhatsApp and the only response they received was "all right" I do not offend nor support nor an apology for what happened. On arrival the driver did not apologize for the delay. Fortunately the Souad guide saved the day, extremely competent and passionate person. It is not clear when booking which services are included in the various packages. Only transport and guide and Light lunch without drinks are included in the Gold Experience. Museum tickets are not included and cannot be defined as optional for the type of tour.

Very interesting, although not quite the promised - Pickup time was at 5am. However, our driver was already on site at 4.20am and surprised that we hadn’t noticed the message from the last day (8pm) via WhatsApp that the pick-up time could be earlier. The ride was in a modern air-conditioned vehicle and these we perceived as very pleasant. Arriving in Luxor, we first met our German guide at Karnak Temple. The information about Egypt and the sights could explain the guide very well so that we understood it. Unfortunately, Mann was more often ignored in queries due to a lack of German language skills. Nevertheless, there was more than enough information about toilets. We found the guide to be nice and competent in his field of expertise. After Karnak Temple we were offered a boat crossing across the Nile. 10€/adult 5€ child incl. a can of soft drink. (Payment was made at the end of Guide) Mann referred here to the time saved compared to crossing the bridge by car. With the thought of having more time for the beautiful sights, we decided to cross the Nile by boat. On the opposite side, however, there was no immediate lunch as mentioned but first our car, which was waiting for us to take us to the restaurant. Even if not inclusive the Nile trip was very nice and we were actually alone as a family on this small boat and did not have to share the place with many like other tourists. There's not much choice when it comes to food. There's either chicken or beef. The rest is determined by the restaurant. Salad was available and various other side dishes not identifiable to me. Especially because I am keen to try, I can say that it did not correspond to my European taste, according to my subjective opinion. Drinks are not included here but also communicated very well on the website. One should not be surprised about the different price level (beverage price, Nile crossing, tips for guide etc.) as it seems quite clear that in general all Egyptians working in the tourism sector are rich considering the basic salary of an Egyptian. Nevertheless, it is very cheap for us Europeans to spend 2 € on a drink in the restaurant. Furthermore, various sights were visited, such as the Colossi of Memnom and the Valley of the Kings. Something very positive is: our guide has always given us as much time to personally go through after the tour as we needed. At the Valley of the Kings there are 3 tombs including the tomb of Tut-Ankh-Amon. 10€/adult 5€/child. Very exhausting we found the bazaars in front of the monuments. Shaped by Turkey, I have to say that a new level of intrusiveness has been created and achieved here again. However, beware!! We have the best prices here. If you can trade them well. After Valley of the Kings we went to the Alabasta Factory in the Alabasta Factory town. After a talk about the production, you could look at the souvenirs in the shop. Watch out! Here was the only moment we were offered something to drink for free. In a salesroom from the Alabsta Factory. There were no snacks. Here the website deceives with “All Inclusive (Water – Lunch – Snacks – Soft Drink)” But since we packed enough drink in our backpack we were able to get away relatively quickly due to the private tour. We also found the talk about the production to be very alienating. The speaker stood in front of 5 sitting people who immediately took up the trade when they saw us coming. In some movements came a “wow” rehearsed in the choir. When our daughter was asked to sit down in a free seat and test the craft, the 5 seated people pulled out instruments and made music to the rehearsed rhythm. Disadvantage: you can’t hide on a private tour 😂 We'd like to have that for reasons of embarrassment alone. Afterwards there was the Hatshepsut Temple. Again, there was a lot of information about the temple from the guide. But since we also wanted to buy souvenirs, we were then drawn to a salesroom of a booth. Here our guide was well aware of our problem with the mentality, the seller repeatedly said what really allowed us to look calmly. Here we also bought some souvenirs. Even if it was planned to tip the guide 20€ in addition to the 30€ Nile trip at the end, we were slightly irritated by no demand for the return change at the Presentation of the 50€ note. In general, we are very satisfied with the tour. Our guide went to great lengths and we were able to take away some of the history and present-day Egypt that you would not otherwise notice in the hotel.
