Desert experience with action and fascinating starry skies - An all-round successful experience – highly recommended! At the beginning we started with a quad tour. Afterwards we were warmly welcomed, served tea and given interesting insights into the life of the Bedouins and their traditions. Afterwards we had the opportunity to try a short camel ride. There was also a tent with various animals such as turtles, a monkey, birds as well as snakes and two small scorpions. It was interesting to see these animals up close, even if this program item was not absolutely necessary for us personally. Afterwards, the jeep tour began: We were allowed to drive the jeeps ourselves while a guide drove ahead and led the group – that was really fun and a real adventure. In the evening we had a very delicious meal with an atmospheric show and music. The finale was a view through the telescope of the Moon and the stars. We got a lot of exciting information about the starry sky – very impressive and interesting. In the end, the quad bike was back – a varied and eventful day with many special impressions.

Jeep and Quad Safari - The tour was great. Riding a quad bike and jeep was fun. The guide Dahood (David) was very friendly and non-intrusive and told very interesting details. In the Bedouin house we were shown spices, oils and creams from our own production. You didn't necessarily have to buy anything. The telescope explained the constellations to us and the starry sky in the desert is beautiful. It was an exciting day for us.

Great tour - Hamid took us on an exciting tour. What we particularly appreciated was the relaxed atmosphere and the pace, which was entirely based on our needs. The variety of offers was super coordinated so we could enjoy everything in peace. A big thank you to Hamid for this great experience!

Exciting adventure - Thank you for your professionalism and contagious enthusiasm. A fantastic experience! Zizo with the explanation of all the desert herbs, trees, animals and finally the name of the constellations. All seasoned with sincere smiles and sympathy. Thank you.

We are a family with two... - We are a family with two kids aged 14 and 11. We had a great experience: adventurous ride in quad + drive in a jeep + visit to beduin village and observation of starts after dinner. Hamid is a great guy and he has been an excellent guide. Congratulations for his knowledge about stars!

Action alternative to beach holidays - Hamid our guide was very dedicated, told us a lot about the Bedouins and the starry sky. You could tell that he knows the subject well and reported with passion. Unfortunately, it was a little short of time for stargazing. The food was very delicious, the people very nice, all in all a successful day.

Great trip to the desert - Our guide Hamid received us very friendly. He spoke excellent German. He was able to tell us a lot about Bedouin life. Hamid also shone with a lot of knowledge about the individual stars in the sky. We also felt positive that the program went on without rushing and with a lot of peace. Overall a very nice and relaxed afternoon with Hamid.

An adventure through the desert - in a positive and negative sense. - Pros: Our German speaking guide Hamid was super attentive, nice and had good knowledge of German. The stargazing with telescope was also very informative and well and entertainingly led by him. A quad bike and independent car ride through the desert at sunset were a unique experience with this backdrop. The buffet in the Bedouin village under the starry sky was good, but the topic of quenching thirst was a little neglected throughout the day. Cons: The camel ride went only 2 minutes and about 50m back and forth. In some cases, other actions were drawn out a bit unnecessarily to fill the time. If you have back problems or if the roller coasters are too thrilled, you should definitely not book this experience: The "4x4 Jeep Adventure through the Desert" is like a near-death experience. Far too fast and especially at night in the dark absolutely reckless is shot through the desert, you arrive wet sweaty and with a sense of relief, after you thought every few seconds the car is right on the roof. Not for the faint-hearted, only the driver has fun here. Conclusion: Overall, however, a successful, raunchy day filled with memories, many different things you have experienced and many good pictures that can arise. We are glad to have done it, but also no longer need a second trip of this kind on our holiday. The positive memories clearly outweigh the negative memories. However, if you are looking forward to a guided camel hike, you are still wrong here.

Disappointing, big drop in quality - A year ago I went to this trip and fell in love with it. I took my friends this year so that they could share my wonderful experience, in large part thanks to my previous, amazing guide - Arabi. Unfortunately, this year a lot of things changed. Last year I visited the same Beduin village, there was making bread with the Beduins and learning a lot about their culture, since Arabi told us in great detail about their customs. This year, the "meeting with the Beduins" was just a sales pitch for their natural medicines, where we were just learning about what we can buy from them at the end of the presentation...one of the groups arrived very late, and the presentation had to be started over. After it finished, we were suddenly aggressively hurried by an unpleasant guy that "we need to go NOW", he didn't tell us why. He was very annoyed. He didn't let my friends pay for their purchase in the Beduin natural medicine tent, and they were later hassled for the money, like it was their fault they couldn't pay. It wasn't. We were ordered to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. It turned out that because the tour didn't account for the last group arriving so late, we missed the sunset entirely, so there was no "climbing the mountain to enjoy the beautiful sunset". By the time they were finished selling us stuff, the sunset was already over. Next, we were hurried to the dune buggies - where two of our friends were COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN AND LEFT BEHIND IN THE CAMP, ALONE. When we were calling for them to come ride the dune buggies with us, one of the guides said not to call them and that he will take care of it. He asked how many there was of us, I answered we're still waiting for 2 people, and he said okay. "Okay" in that case meant that he didn't care about our friends and he just left them alone at the camp. They didn't know where the guide is and weren't informed that we urgently had to go, he didn't bother searching for them, even if it took 30 seconds. The quads were okay, decent ride length. However, there were just two camels, and they were mistreated and dragged around for a ride that lasted maybe a full minute for each person, forced to constantly get up and lay down. The Beduin dance and fire show were admittedly beautiful, both artists were something special. The dinner was alright too. That's what's the two stars is for. The stargazing is where the disappointment was the biggest - last year, we were all laying down on carpets around the telescope, comfortably looking at the sky, while Arabi passionately told us about the stars, constellations, planets, and their significance for Egyptian culture. We saw many stars through an excellently calibrated telescope, while Arabi made sure to describe each one - it was amazing. This year, the stargazing was just 20 minutes of standing around a telescope all so we can see a very blurry sight of Saturn and the star Vega (easily visible with a naked eye). The guide couldn't sharpen the image, couldn't show us anything else, even though we had a person skilled at astronomical observations in our group that could've easily located currently visible nebulas and comets in the night sky so that we could have a better experience. The guide fumbled around with the telescope for a while to no avail, and then announced the time was over. I understand they don't want any outsider touching that expensive telescope, but for god's sake, at least hire a person who actually knows how to use it. Next he briefly showed where zodiac constellations are and the stargazing experience was over. We were so disappointed, especially the above mentioned person who booked the trip especially to get to know more about the Egyptian night sky. One person of our group has left his glasses at the first camp, and he was told that it's no problem and he can only get them later, as he too was hurried aggressively to the dune buggies. After we came back from stargazing, they refused to give him his glasses back. It took 2 days of constant texting, effort, and very harsh words on my part to finally get them returned to us. Zizu was helpful in the matter. A year ago I would've recommended this trip wholeheartedly. As of now, I'd advise you to choose a different activity. Some things are nice, but the overall disorganization, dishonesty and pushing to buy stuff instead of a somewhat authentic experience is not worth the money.
