Zouaq painting is a Moroccan technique used to adorn ceilings, doors, furniture, and wooden items, integral to the decoration of sacred spaces and private residences, such as the Bahia Palace in Marrakech.
Participants can select from various shapes of wooden trays, including a hand of Fatma for young children.
After making a choice, participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity by blending traditional Berber designs with the array of paint colors available. The Maâlem will be there to offer invaluable guidance throughout the process.
