Day 1: Marrakech-Ait Ben Haddou-Ouarzazate-Draa Valley-Zagora Desert
Marrakech - Depart from Marrakech at 7:00 am in an off-road vehicle, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains. The journey will lead to the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site made of adobe, which has been the backdrop for numerous films. The trip continues to Ouarzazate for lunch near the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, once the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. The journey proceeds south, crossing the second pass, Tizi’n Tichka, at an elevation of 2260 meters.
Zagora - Visit the village of Ait Saou, an ancient caravan route for Sahara merchants, then reach the first administrative center called “Agdez,” marking the start of the Draa Valley. The day concludes with a camel ride to the Pre-Saharan area, arriving at a Haimas camp in the Zagora desert, known as the desert gate. Dinner and camp accommodation are provided.
Day 2: Zagora-Agdez-High Atlas Mountains-Ouarzazate-Return to Marrakech
Zagora - Early in the morning, enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by breakfast at the Zagora camp. Then, ride camels back to the starting point.
Tizi n Tichka - Continue the journey to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. Enjoy a meal and cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Draa Valley, with a panoramic stop, arriving in Marrakech around 6:00 pm.
