Marrakech – Tadart-Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou - Tinfou Dunes Desert Camp

Marrakech - Departure from Marrakech at 7:00 am. The journey will take approximately two hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass, with stops for photos and breakfast along the way.

Ait Ben Haddou - Next, the route leads towards Ouarzazate, where the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, will be visited. Lunch will be enjoyed here, followed by a photo stop at the Atlas Film Studios.

Tinfou Dunes - The journey continues through Agdez, various Berber villages, and the Draa Valley with its lush Palmeraie. Upon reaching the center of Tinfou village, the driver will be left behind as camels are ridden to the camp to catch the sunset. Tea with the nomads will be served, followed by dinner. The evening will be spent around an open fireplace, enjoying the enchanting and authentic Berber music.

Tinfou Dunes Desert Camp – Rissani – Merzouga

Tinfou Dunes - An early rise is necessary to witness the sunrise, a breathtaking experience with the silence and rapid changes in orange hues. Breakfast will follow, and then the desert will be left behind after a memorable night in traditional tents. A visit to the village of Tamegroute and its pottery kilns will follow.

Rissani - The journey continues to Rissani, passing through the palm Mellal, Tazzarine, and Alnif across a vast rocky plain, with lunch along the way.

Merzouga Desert - Post-lunch, the route passes through Arfoud and Rissani towards Merzouga, home to Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s tallest sand dunes. Arrival at the hotel is expected in the late afternoon/early evening, allowing time to relax by the pool and enjoy Berber tea. At around 5:30 pm, camels will be ridden from the hotel for about an hour and a half through the desert dunes. Arrival at the Berber tents will allow time to relax, enjoy Berber tea with nomads, and watch the sunset from the dunes. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by music around the open fireplace. The night will be spent at the luxurious Merzouga desert camp.

Merzouga Desert - Erfoud – Todra Gorges - Boumalen Dades

Merzouga Desert - An early start to witness the sunrise over the Merzouga dunes before heading to the next destination. The journey to Erfoud will reveal ancient fossils, trilobites, ammonites, and other prehistoric remains like dinosaurs, coral, and shark teeth. Along the way, the changing desert landscapes and the unique beauty of the Tafilalt region can be admired.

Todra River - The route leads through the impressive Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls can be admired. A leisurely walk through the gorge allows for appreciation of the natural formations’ grandeur.

Boumalne Dades - Continuing the journey, arrival at Boumalen Dades, a town nestled in the rugged Dades Valley, is expected. The Dades Valley is renowned for its dramatic rock formations and stunning views. Relaxation and unwinding in a cozy hotel amidst breathtaking natural surroundings will be complemented by a delicious dinner showcasing the diverse flavors of Moroccan cuisine.

Boumalen Dades - Rose Valley - Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Boumalne Dades - Breakfast at the hotel in Boumalen Dades precedes departure to Ouarzazate, passing through the beautiful Rose Valley and Skoura.

Ouarzazate - A magnificent landscape unfolds: clay fortified villages, kasbahs, ksours, and the Valley of Roses. Lunch will be followed by a visit to the region’s most famous kasbahs, including the Kasbah Taouirt.

Marrakech - The return to Marrakech will be via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with arrival in the late afternoon.
