Unforgettable Sahara & Atlas Experience - A Trip to Remember! First of all, a huge thanks to our guide and driver, Agouim, who was one of the nicest and kindest people we’ve ever met. He also has a great sense of humor and did an excellent job explaining the history, culture, and places we passed along the way, which made the long drives much more enjoyable. We faced a blizzard on top of the Atlas Mountains, and many cars and vans were stuck on the route. Agouim managed the situation calmly and skillfully, got us out safely, and still ensured we were able to visit all the planned places on time. We stayed in a luxury tent in the Sahara, and it was a very good experience. The tent had an attached bathroom and a heater, which is absolutely essential in the desert climate, especially at night. The driving on the third day was quite long, so be prepared for that. Overall, it was a really nice and memorable experience. One thing that could be improved is the lunch arrangement on the second and third days, as the meals were at buffet-style places, which may not be ideal for people who don’t want to eat much.

They need to improve the facilities. You may be shocked after the hotel experience. - Iddir was a great guide. He was helpful , but the hotels were not what we expected. When you are booking it, make sure that you have someone and number just in case you may need it.

Great trip - thanks to Rachid and Muhammad - Our 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes was an unforgettable adventure! From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly thanks to Muhammad and Rachid. Muhammad was an excellent driver — calm, punctual, and always looking out for everyone’s comfort. We felt completely safe with him behind the wheel. Rachid, our guide, made the trip truly special. He was full of energy and stories, always keeping us entertained and teaching us about Moroccan life and traditions along the way. The highlight for me was the night in the desert — riding camels into the dunes, watching the sky turn gold at sunset, and then sitting by the campfire under thousands of stars. It felt magical. The organization, the warmth, and the personal touch from both Muhammad and Rachid made this trip far beyond expectations. I would recommend them both in a heartbeat! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just do it - Bloody brilliant. What a way to see this amazing country and also meet so lovely fellow travellers from around the world. Hakim was just the best driver. Chilled, funny, informative, flexible to adjust based on the group, really went the extra mile. Most importantly a good safe driver

Amazing experience, thank you Dozi! - Dozi our guide was really kind to us, pampered us from the first moment. The thing we liked the most is the fact that I followed the itinerary slightly earlier than the others so that we did not have any crowds of people and could fully enjoy everything. Thank you dozi for the wonderful experience! We highly recommend it

Worst Tripadvisor Tour Ever - The trip was poorly planned. The company was supposed to inform us a day in advance on the pickup point and schedule but failed to do so. We had to personally call them and text them repeatedly the night before the trip to get a response. On the day of the trip itself, the coach arrived with no indication that it was from the Tripadvisor tour we booked (e.g., no sticker on the van, no attempt to verify our identities). When we sought clarification, the guide (Guide A) was rude and even hurried us to store our luggage as "there is no time" and "everyone is waiting for us" (as if we were at fault for their poor planning). At three months into his job, Guide A was clearly inexperienced and often relied on the Spanish-speaking driver for advice. Guide A himself had poor command of English and could not provide proper explanations whenever we had questions during the trip. Instead of remembering our names, he gave us Moroccan names because "they are easier to remember" and had the gumption to call us, his paying customers, with those Moroccan names throughout the trip. The hotel (Hotel Rose Mgouna) we stayed in on our first day was the worst. It was most definitely a one-star hotel (don't be fooled by the 3-star rating on Google). The bed was not clean and had a wet-dog smell, there was no warm shower (note that this was in December when temperatures are freezing), the bath towels are discoloured and appeared mouldy and the heater does not work. The second day was largely a waste of time. We had another guide (Guide B) for the day who was obviously high on drugs. Throughout our trip, he would constantly make stale jokes (mostly about sex), talk about how "happy" he was and that he was a "certified" tour guide. Clearly incompetent in English, he would only communicate with the Spanish members of our tour group, leaving most of us English-speakers behind. Apart from a short visit to the Todgha Gorge, which was pretty but heavily damaged by graffiti, we spent hours (Guide A said it would only last an hour) walking around empty farmland (unless you're interested in seeing grass) and wasting our time in a shop selling Moroccan carpets. The only highlight of the trip came towards the end of the second day, when we rode camels in the Merzouga Desert, lived in a "traditional" (I'm skeptical by now) tent and gazed at a night sky filled with stars (you can see the Milky Way). But arriving at the desert was not without hardships. Due to the poor time management from Guide B, Guide A had to hurry us to deposit our luggage, which were to be ferried to our tent, before we made our way to the tent site on camels. The process of depositing our luggage was poorly explained and felt as if we were in a military boot camp, with Guide A playing the role of a sergeant ordering and hurrying his subordinates (his paying customers) around. Throughout the luggage depositing process, Guide A failed to give us clear instructions with his poor English. In particular, he failed to inform us on where we should leave our valuables and only told us to leave anything "fragile" in the van. The third day was essentially a 11-12-hour trip back to Marrakech. If you are claustrophobic and cannot handle sitting in a tiny coach (Reminder: you will be inside a van filled with people, not a bus. There will not be enough space to stretch) for hours (with pit stops every ~2 to 3 hours) while listening to horrendous music, please do not sign up for this trip. Also, by the end of the second day, Guide A will start pestering you to leave a good "5-start" Tripadvisor review and to only leave his name in the review if he did something "good". I still remember how on the third day, while stuck in the van, Guide A forced me to show that I have scanned the QR code leading to the Tripadvisor page. Again, I am the paying customer so how is this behaviour acceptable? Guide A is Mohammad. He wore a red jacket throughout the tour. He keeps his hair short and has a beard. This trip took place from 19 to 21 December 2025. I derived more pleasure writing this 10-minute review than I did from the entire trip. Don't be fooled by the high ratings from this tour. Remember, statistical information only reflects what most people have experienced, not necessarily what you will actually go through.
