Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou-Ouarzazate-Zagora

Marrakech - Begin the day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before being picked up from the accommodation at 7:00 am. The tour departs from Marrakech at 7:30 am in a modern, air-conditioned minibus.

High Atlas Mountains - Journey across the Atlas Mountains,

Ait Ben Haddou - Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside while traveling over the Atlas Mountains and visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This part of the journey takes approximately 3 hours.

Ouarzazate - After a brief stop, continue to Ouarzazate (about 1 hour or so) for a lunch break and a visit to the Studio Cinema, time permitting. However, visits are not allowed if filming is in progress. Lunch is available at local cafes.

Draa Valley - Proceed along the Drâa Valley to reach the destination of Zagora.

Zagora - After a pause in Zagora, meet the camels for a 1.5-hour trek into the dunes to reach the desert camp in the dunes of Nakhla.

From Zagora back to Marrakech

Zagora - Following a traditional Berber breakfast just before sunrise, enjoy a 1.5-hour camel ride at sunrise to further explore the area, then return to Zagora on the camels. Upon reaching Zagora, there is an opportunity to shower before beginning the journey back through the Draa Valley and over the Atlas Mountains, with ample stops for photos and lunch, returning to Marrakech.

Marrakech - Typically, the return to Marrakech is between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

Day 1:
Begin with early-morning pickup from Marrakech. Travel through the dessert sandstone city of Ouarzazate. Stop at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where you will have free time to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue to the verdant Draa Valley, which is well-known for its amazing ksour and kasbah. Head to Zagora and make your way to the windswept dunes for a sunset camel ride. Make camp at a campsite in the Zagora dunes and enjoy a hearty dinner of local flavors.
Day 2:
Wake early morning for a typical Berber breakfast before watching the sunrise from the back of your camel in the dunes. Board the bus and take the road back to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains.
