- Marrakesh - Embark on an exhilarating 2-day trek to Mount Toubkal, the tallest peak in North Africa. The adventure begins in the village of Imlil, approximately 1.5 hours from Marrakech. Upon arrival, a local mountain guide will accompany you through the High Atlas Mountains. The hike will take you through Berber villages, lush valleys, and rugged paths. After about 3 hours of trekking, there will be a stop for lunch and rest. The journey continues with another 2–3 hours of hiking to reach the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m), where dinner will be served, and you’ll spend the night in a shared mountain hut.
The following day starts early with breakfast at 4:00 AM, followed by the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). The trail is steep and rocky, taking 3–4 hours to reach the top. From the summit, breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and even the Sahara Desert can be seen on clear days. After a rest and photo opportunities, the descent back to the refuge for a break begins. The journey continues down to Imlil, with a lunch stop along the way. The second day is more demanding, with approximately 10 hours of hiking in total. Upon reaching Imlil, the drive back to Marrakech concludes the adventure.
