MARRAKECH - IMLIL (1740 m) - TOUBKAL REFUGE (3207 m)
Imlil - Guests will be collected from their hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 a.m. and driven south towards the High Atlas Mountains to reach the village of Imlil. From there, the journey proceeds along the Mizane Valley, initially heading towards the village of Armed and then to the famous shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, where a delicious lunch will be enjoyed. The trail then continues to ascend steadily, winding its way up to the Toubkal Refuge (3207 m), where the night will be spent. The walk takes approximately 5 hours.
REFUGE TOUBKAL - TOUBKAL SUMMIT (4167 m) - IMLIL - MARRAKECH.
Toubkal - At dawn, the ascent to the summit of Jebel Toubkal, the tallest peak in Northern Africa, begins. The route leads up the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge. While the path is relatively straightforward, the scree and altitude present some challenging sections. However, the breathtaking views along the way make the effort truly rewarding.
Lunch will be enjoyed near the Shamharouch Shrine by the river, followed by a continued walk to Imlil, where the driver will be waiting for a 1.5-hour drive back to Marrakech. The total walking time for the day is approximately 10 hours.
