Day 1: Marrakech > Taddart > Telouet > Ait Ben Haddou > Skoura > Dades Valley
Marrakech - Guests will be picked up from Marrakech at 8:00 am. The journey will take approximately 2 hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass. There will be stops for photos and breakfast. A visit to the town of Telouet and its 17th-century kasbah…
Day 1: Marrakech > Taddart > Telouet > Ait Ben Haddou > Skoura > Dades Valley
Marrakech - Guests will be picked up from Marrakech at 8:00 am. The journey will take approximately 2 hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass. There will be stops for photos and breakfast. A visit to the town of Telouet and its 17th-century kasbah is also included.
Next, the tour will proceed to Ourzazate to explore the UNESCO-protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Lunch will be served there, followed by a visit to the Atlas Film Studios. The journey continues to Skoura, known for its beautiful kasbahs, and then to Dades Valley, where the night will be spent at a hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley > Todra Gorge > Erfoud > Merzouga > Camel Trek > Desert Camp
Dades Valley Activities - After breakfast, the tour will head to Todgha city to explore Todra Gorge. Lunch will be in Tinjdad village. The journey then continues through Arfoud and Rissani to Merzouga, home to Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s tallest sand dunes.
In the late afternoon or early evening, arrival at the hotel is expected. Guests can relax by the pool and enjoy Berber tea. At around 5:30 pm, a camel ride through the desert dunes will commence, lasting about one and a half hours. Upon reaching the Berber tents, there will be time to relax, enjoy Berber tea with nomads, and watch the sunset from the dunes. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by music around the campfire. Overnight accommodation will be in a Berber tent.
Day 3: Camel Trek > Merzouga Village > Ziz Valley > Midelt > Ifrane > Fes
Merzouga - An early start is planned to witness the sunrise. Afterward, guests can try sandboarding, enjoy breakfast, and take a shower at the camp. Camels will then be ridden back to Merzouga to meet the driver.
The journey to Fez will include a visit to the Rissani market and passing through Arfoud, Errachidia, Ziz Valley, Medilt, Cedar Forests of Azrou, Ifrane, and finally Fez. On a good day, monkeys in the forests might be spotted. Lunch will be at one of the many restaurants along the route. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a riad.
Day 4: Fes > Meknes > Volubilis > Rabat
Fes el-Bali - The morning will include a brief visit to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most beautiful cities. The tour will then proceed to Meknes, another Imperial city. Guests will explore Meknes and have lunch in the region. In the afternoon, the Roman Ruins and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss will be explored.
A walk around the impressive Roman city site will be followed by time to see where Morocco’s first Arab conquerors settled in Moulay Idriss. The day will conclude with a drive to Rabat for the final night’s stay. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at a riad.
Day 5: Rabat > Casablanca > Marrakech
Rabat - The day will begin with a sightseeing tour of Morocco’s administrative capital, including the Royal Palace, The Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Hassan Tower, a minaret of an unfinished mosque initiated by the Almohad ruler, Yaacoub al-Mansour.
The tour will then proceed to Casablanca for lunch and a visit to the Hassan II mosque. There will be time to explore the city before returning to Marrakech via the highway.
