Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – El Kelaa M’gouna – Boumalen Dades
Ouarzazate - Guests will be picked up in the morning in Marrakech and set off for Ouarzazate via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, which ascends to 2260 meters, offering stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains and charming Berber villages. The journey continues to a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, followed by lunch.
Atlas Studios - The next destination is Atlas Studios, the largest film studio globally, known for hosting renowned films and TV shows like Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King, Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Aladdin, along with several James Bond and Jason Bourne movies. The tour then proceeds to El Kelaa M’gouna (the Valley of Roses), famous for its rose cultivation and production of perfumes, oils, and lotions.
Skoura - The journey passes through the beautiful palm grove oasis in Skoura, showcasing many exotic Kasbahs, such as the Taourirt and Amerhidil Kasbahs. Upon reaching the picturesque Dadès Valley, guests will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, with dinner and breakfast included.
Boumalen Dades – Todgha Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
Todgha Gorge - After breakfast, the journey continues toward Merzouga, with a stop at the breathtaking Todgha Gorge, where visitors can enjoy a walk along the gorge floor between the canyon walls.
Erfoud - Following lunch, the drive proceeds via Erfoud, where an incredible fossil factory is visited. Here, guests learn about the excavation, polishing, and shaping of trilobites, orthoceras, ammonites, and other fossils into beautiful objects. The journey continues to Merzouga and the Dunes Luxury Camp at the base of the Sahara Desert dunes. Each tent is elegantly furnished, offering the ultimate “glamping” experience. Guests prepare for their next adventure: camel trekking! They will ride these “Ships of the Desert” into the heart of the Sahara, witnessing a stunning sunset over the dunes. Back at the Dunes Luxury Camp, guests will enjoy Berber cuisine, listen to drums under a starry night sky, and sleep peacefully in their luxurious tents.
Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)-Rissani-Alnif-Tazarin-N’kob-Draa valley-Ouarzazate
Merzouga - The following morning, the camel guide will awaken guests at dawn to witness the spectacular desert sunrise. Afterward, guests return to the camp for breakfast. The camel guide then escorts them back to the Auberge for a refreshing shower.
Rissani - The journey continues to Rissani through the Ksours and kasbahs of Tafilalet. Guests visit the Zaouia of Moulay Ali El-Charif, the mausoleum of the Glaoui dynasty founder, and take a walk to explore the local market and traditional souks in Rissani.
Ouarzazate - The tour then heads to Ouarzazate via Alnif, Tazarin, and the Draa valley, eventually reaching Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate – the pass of Tizi n’Tichka – Marrakech
Marrakech - After breakfast, the journey proceeds toward Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Pass of Tizi n’Tichka. Stops are made along the way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, with lunch in a Berber village called “Teddart” before arriving in Marrakech.
