A tasteful and genuine dining experience at Lamai's home with family - This was really a fantastic and very educational experience. Being invited home to Lamai and his family made the cooking course extra special and personal. We learned about traditional spices, local ingredients and step by step how to prepare a classic traditional meal. You could really tell how much love and knowledge lies behind the food and culture. During the visit we also got to participate in a nice tea ceremony that gave an even deeper insight into the traditions and everyday life. I warmly recommend Lamai Chef Cooking Class to all foodies and to anyone who wants to experience the local culture in a genuine and personal way

A memorable experience! - We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and learned how to make typical Moroccan dishes. We had some vegetarians, pescatarians, and people who eat chicken and all were accommodated! The dishes made in the tagines were delicious. We learned how to use the spices and got recipes to take home. While the dishes cooked, we walked around the village and were taken in by the beautiful scenery. It was a memorable visit!

Amazing Day In a Berber Village - This was an incredible authentic experience. We visited a Berber Village in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. We were welcomed warmly and treated to a traditional Tea Service. Following the tea service we then had a lesson in how to prepare Chicken and Fish Tagine and Moroccan Salad. All the members of our group were able to participate in the preparation of the dishes. The tangines were placed to cook while the group received a tour of the village. Once the dishes were done cooking we proceeded to an outdoor dining area where the tables were nicely set. The food was then presented to each table with an additional dish of vegetable tagine. All the food was outstanding. After completing our meal we received printed recipes of the dishes we made and additional Berber dishes. Our group had multiple dietary issues including allergies and all were accomodated. The people were friendly and warm. An exceptional day in a Berber village. I highy recommend.

Best family cooking school - My husband, daughter and I had no idea what our cooking class experience was going to be. We arrived at a beautiful home and learned to cook a wonderful meal from start to finish from the the four chefs there, the two owners/chefs, a perfectly English speaking chef and the one in the kitchen. They were all lovely, knowledgeable, thorough and considerate. They made us feel at home and helped us learn how to make the delicious Moroccan meal. We loved it so much we considered doing another class while we are here, but will definitely book again next time we are in Marrakech. Thank you so much. Not to be missed!

A cooking class of the highest order - A nice experience, we learned a lot! A tea ceremony of the landlord showed us how to prepare really good mint tea. A vegetarian tagine was beautifully prepared before our eyes, traditional spices presented. We were able to participate in all other dishes. Overall, it became a complete traditional meal: Harira soup, tagine with chicken and pickled lemons, flatbreads, pancakes and almond briouats (shaped into triangles). In the beautiful house to eat all this then (incl. the vegetarian tagine) delighted all the senses! We got the recipes. Important: Here it is very professional and absolutely hygienic!!
