An absolute highlight of our trip! - An absolute highlight of our trip! Zohra’s kitchen felt like home from the moment we walked in. Even though we were complete beginners, Zohra’s patience was incredible, and she guided us to a delicious meal. Fatima’s storytelling and translations made the experience so much richer; we learned just as much about Moroccan culture as we did about the food. If you want an authentic connection with a local family, don't miss this!

it was all SO good. - We came as a group of friends knowing zero about cooking, and somehow left as Moroccan chefs! Zohra and Fatima were amazing — they laughed with us, guided us, and somehow made our messy bread look edible. We made chicken tagine, zaalouk, and bread, and it was all SO good. Honestly, this private cooking class in Marrakech was way more fun than we expected.

Authentic local experience - We had an unforgettable experience cooking and getting to know Fatimzarha and her mother. Their hospitality was above and beyond. They were both so kind. Not only did we learn their traditional ways of cooking, we got to spend the afternoon visiting and learning more about life in Marrakesh. It was truly one of my favorite days in Morocco. Don’t hesitate to book this experience!

the kids they loved it! - We came with our two kids (8 and 11), and I was worried they might get bored, but they loved it! Zohra showed them how to shape the bread, and they were so proud when it came out of the oven. Fatima was incredibly patient and explained everything in a way they could follow. We made lamb tagine with prunes, plus Moroccan salads, and everything was delicious. It wasn’t just a cooking class — it was a family moment we’ll always remember.

Warm People, Rich Flavors - Cooking with this sweet Moroccan family was a true highlight. We learned to prepare a turkey tagine with cinnamon and dried fruits, and every step was filled with laughter, smiles, and genuine connection. It felt like we were home, even thousands of miles away.

Cooking with a Moroccan family in Marrakech was an unforgettable experience - Cooking with a Moroccan family in Marrakech was an unforgettable experience for us as a couple. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms, making us feel like part of the family. The warmth and hospitality were just as comforting as the incredible aromas coming from the kitchen! Together, we learned how to prepare a traditional couscous dish from scratch, carefully layering flavors and textures to create a meal that was both rich and authentic. We also had the chance to master the art of Moroccan mint tea, a ritual that goes beyond just brewing—it’s about patience, precision, and tradition. The mom, a skilled and passionate chef, guided us through every step with kindness and expertise, ensuring we learned the techniques while enjoying the process. Her daughter, Fatima Zahra, was a wonderful translator, adding depth to the experience with her knowledge of Moroccan culture and storytelling. Sitting down to share the meal we prepared together was the perfect ending to a perfect day. The flavors were incredible, but what made it truly special was the feeling of connection—not just to the food, but to the people who welcomed us into their home. It was an experience full of learning, laughter, and love—one we will always treasure.
