This route offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas. Upon descending, the group will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. The Ksour, or Berber villages, of Ait Ben Haddou were historically significant as a stop on caravan routes transporting salt from the Sahara and returning with gold and ivory. It is the best-preserved and most fortified Kasbah. Numerous films, including “The Mummy,” “Alexander,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” and “Prince of Persia,” have been filmed here. Afterward, the tour will pass through the desert of Ouarzazate, visit Taourirte Kasbah and the Atlas film studios, and continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura Oasis and Rose Valley to reach Dades Gorge, where the night will be spent in a local hotel.

The Todra Gorge features classic narrow, high rock walls rising 300 meters. After a break to stretch in the gorge, lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. The journey continues to the Moroccan desert, through the sunny sand dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga, where guests will enjoy a camel ride (approximately 1 hour) to reach the Bivouac in time to witness the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and music around the campfire will follow, with an overnight stay in a tent.
