Marrakech - Tizi N’tichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Tinghir

Tinghir - The journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation or designated location in Marrakech at 7:00 am. The adventure takes you from Marrakech to Tinghir, traversing the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, offering expansive views of the mountains and traditional High Atlas Berber villages. The trip continues to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, where you will explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. Lunch will be enjoyed at Ait Benhaddou, followed by a stop at a supermarket in Ouarzazate. The day concludes with an overnight stay at a hotel in Tinghir, complete with dinner and breakfast.

Tinghir - Toudgha Gorges - Merzouga Desert

Merzouga Desert - After breakfast, the journey proceeds to the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Along the way, you’ll encounter scattered Berber villages, passing through Todra Gorges, oasis, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, marking the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Upon arrival at a hotel in Merzouga, a brief rest is followed by packing essentials for a night in the desert, leaving other luggage at the hotel. The adventure continues with a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, offering a perfect opportunity for capturing stunning sunset and sunrise photos. Upon reaching the camp, camels are left behind as you walk to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and sunset viewing. The night is spent in a camp with Berber nomad tents, accompanied by drum music in the heart of the Sahara.

Merzouga Desert - Marrakech

Marrakech - The day begins with a sunrise view over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, the return journey to Marrakech commences. The route passes through Berber villages until reaching Ouarzazate, then follows the same road back to Marrakech. The shared 3-day desert tour from Marrakech concludes in the afternoon, around 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with a drop-off at your hotel or the nearest accessible point to your riad.
