Marrakech - Dades Gorges

High Atlas Mountains - Depart from your hotel at 8:00 AM, heading southeast across the Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. There will be several stops for coffee, restroom breaks, and to admire the panoramic views and capture photos.

Ait Ben Haddou - Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a popular filming location for movies like “Gladiator,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and scenes from the renowned TV series “Game of Thrones.” Enjoy lunch at a restaurant at the base of the Kasbahs.

Ouarzazate - After lunch, proceed to Ouarzazate with an option to visit the Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. (These visits are optional.)

Skoura - Journey on to Dades Gorges through the expansive palm groves of Skoura. If time allows, visit Kasbah Amredile.

Vallee Des Roses - Explore the Rose Valley, which stretches along the M’Goun River. The Damascena rose, brought to Morocco centuries ago by a Berber merchant from Damascus, blooms between April and mid-May.

Boumalne Dades - Take a detour from the main road to drive up the Dades Valley, reaching the hotel with a couple of stops to enjoy the stunning views of the valley and a unique rock formation known as “The Monkey Feet.” Spend the night at the hotel in Dades.

Dades Gorges - Merzouga

Todgha Gorge - After breakfast, travel from Dades Gorges to the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Arrive at the towering cliffs and enjoy a short walk to fully appreciate the area’s beauty.

Erfoud - Continue to Erfoud, where you can experience the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet and its vast arid plateaus.

Erg Chebbi Dunes - Upon arrival in Merzouga, a short off-road drive takes you to the edge of the golden dunes where camels await. Luggage will be transported by a 4x4 vehicle to the camp, while you enjoy a delightful camel ride over the sand dunes, witnessing a breathtaking desert sunset en route to the camp.

Merzouga Desert - Upon arrival, be welcomed with tea and smiles. Settle into your comfortable private tents, equipped with ensuite bathrooms and showers, to relax before dinner. After a delicious meal, enjoy a festive atmosphere with musical performances by the staff and cameleers under the starry desert sky.

Merzouga Desert - Fes

Erfoud - An early morning wake-up is recommended to witness the stunning sunrise from the dunes. Have breakfast at the camp, pack, and return either by camel or 4x4, leaving the dunes behind. Back on the paved roads,

Errachidia - Drive along the Ziz Valley, notable for its extensive palm trees and the volume of dates produced annually. Observe the many ksars, fortified houses built by merchants to protect their goods. Stop for a panoramic view of the Aoufous oasis in the Tafilalet region.

Midelt - Pause for lunch in Midelt.

Azrou Cedar Forest - Visit the Cedar Forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas Mountains, with the possibility of seeing Barbary apes (monkeys).

Ifrane - Consider stopping in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) for a restroom break or to enjoy a coffee before continuing to Fes.

Fes - Arrive in Fes and be dropped off at your accommodation.
