Marrakech – Boumalne Dades (6-Hour Drive)

Ait Ben Haddou - Shortly before 8 a.m., the operator will pick you up from your hotel or the airport. The 3-day journey from Marrakech to Merzouga begins early, at 7:30 a.m. The tour kicks off with a visit to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. On the way, you will traverse the Tizi Ntichka pass, a concrete pass nestled between and above the majestic High Atlas Mountains.

After enjoying lunch in Ait Benhaddou, the journey continues to Boumalne Dades via the Valley of the Roses, a picturesque green field adorned with various Moroccan flowers. Upon arrival at the Dades Valley hotel, you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. While traveling through Dades Valley, it’s recommended to roll down your windows to enjoy the floral scents. If fortunate, you might even acquire some rose oil, one of Morocco’s top exports.

Dades Gorges - In the afternoon, during the 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga tour, you will experience a magical night in Dades Valley.

Boumalne Dades – Merzouga (4-Hour Drive)

Todgha Gorge - The journey begins along the 1001 Kasbahs Road, also known as the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs, named for the numerous Kasbahs along the route. Upon reaching Tinghir in Southeast Morocco, you will find the Todgha River Banks, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Merzouga - The drive continues to Merzouga, arriving at Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco’s most stunning sand dune seas. At the end of the route, you will meet your camel caravan. Merzouga - Return your camels to your desert tent to end the day on a high note with a delicious Moroccan meal prepared under the stars near a campfire. Your adventure is far from over! On the final night of the 3-day Marrakech desert tour, you will sleep in a traditional Berber desert tent. After dining, enjoying entertainment, and marveling at the Saharan desert’s sand dunes, your journey continues.

Merzouga – Marrakech (9-Hour Drive)

Merzouga - The last day of the 3-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga is primarily spent traveling back to your starting point—your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Expect a long journey on the final day.
