As the black slave Abu Ahmed rose to power and wealth towards the end of the 19th century, he had the Bahia palace built by bringing in craftsmen from Fez.

amazing - the tour was excellent, the tour starts from the pick up at our Riad in the medina which was great, our guide Jamal speaks very good English, he showed us most hidden gems in the medina that we couldn't find by ourselves.. very funny guide, knowledgeable..... highly recommended

The best part of Morocco! - Walid was one of the best parts of our trip to Morocco. He completely embodies Moroccan hospitality with his warmth, openness, and great sense of humor. He took us around Marrakech for the afternoon, and even took my husband to his personal barber for a haircut when he mentioned he wanted to get his haircut. When I have friends come to Morocco I will definitely recommend they go with Walid!

2-day stay in Marrakech - I and my friends (a group of 9 people from Bulgaria) were traveling to mount Toubkal, the highest peak of the Atlas Mountains. Our trek started from Marrakech where Mission Travel Morocco took a good care of us all. Quite a special place, we managed to understand a little bit more about the culture and people of Marrakech, their habits, cosy restaurants and cafes, historical monuments thanks to our guide Walid and his unforgettable stories. Stories from times long forgotten mixed with precious advice that helped our trip. I really do recommend exploring Marrakech with the help of a local guide in order to gain a better perspective of the town and its culture.
