Built between 1866 and 1867 by Si Moussa, this sprawling palace spans two hectares in the middle of Marrakech’s medina and has 150 rooms, including a harem located just off the sunny main courtyard. Having housed the Resident General during the time of the French Protectorate, the Bahia Palace is today an unmissable historical museum open to the public daily and has already hosted events such as the Marrakech Biennale.
