Beautiful day in the desert - Very good program and beautiful views. Our guide Chaimaa was very accommodating and nice. Food almost lush but for that cooked for so many people is good.

Speeding in the sands - I am very happy with these guys. It was real fun riding the quad bikes in the desert. They have organised everything for us including the transport from and back to Marrakech. The best part was they gave us the opportunity to test the speed limits of the quad bikes in a safe environment.

Good value excursion with fun activities and some waiting around at dinner - Quite an inexpensive excursion booked on Getyourguide and provided by Morocco Smile Guide for eight hours including two hours travel on the coach with quad-biking, a camel ride, dinner, and fire show. It also includes a short stop to taste honey, olive oil, and peanut paste but there’s no hard sell. Good communication in advance from our guide Aya who was wonderful throughout and clearly enjoys her job. The coach turns off the highway down the kind of dirt track that someone puts a “road closed” sign across in movies just after you’ve turned. At the end is a purpose-built complex around a pool - the one shown in this listing's photos. It’s clearly quite new and fills up with many tour groups all doing the same thing from 5pm onwards. I estimated 500-600 people at dinner. The desert here doesn’t resemble the Sahara and it’s really just very hot and dusty scrubland like The Hills Have Eyes but somebody has invested in turning this place into an experience and they have done a decent job. I really recommend you use factor 50 sunscreen and bring a good hat for the camels as the sun is unforgiving. You wear a hairnet with helmet and visors for the quad-bikes. Dinner - soup, tagine, couscous - was as expected for the price and was tasty but service was quite slow. Fun music and fire show after it got dark which everyone enjoyed proving you don’t need beer or alcohol to have a good time. While this excursion is the epitome of mass tourism, there is nothing to complain about given what’s included in the price. So highly recommended if you fancy the activities.

Tourifalle - The tour on the quad was very cool. The organization of the whole in the "camp" was a disaster. We waited a lot and got the water only for dinner. So take something to drink with you because without water at over 30°C it is exhausting (even if it includes as stated) The times are not observed. We didn't ride camels for 15 min or quad for 40 min. The food was rather below average, the ambience beautiful in the desert. Larger groups are preferred and the slots on the camels are not properly filled, so even longer waiting times arise. You have to actively address the local people that the seats are being filled. The tours have also lasted different lengths from group to group. I wouldn't pay the full price.
