At the city’s entrance, travelers will pass by Al Akhawayn University, offering a glimpse of its beautiful campus and European-style buildings. A stop will be made to admire the famous Lion Stone, a unique rock carving, perfect for photos. Then, head to Parc la Prairie for a leisurely stroll through the well-maintained gardens, enjoying the fresh air and perhaps a coffee at a nearby café. After lunch, the journey continues to the nearby town of Azrou, renowned for its Berber culture and beautiful cedar forests. Here, visitors can explore the ancient cedar trees and Barbary macaques, enjoying a hike through the forest and, with some luck, observing the playful monkeys in their natural habitat.
