DAY 1: MARRAKECH - IMI OUGHLAD - TINZERT:
Marrakech - Embark on a three-day journey through the Atlas Mountains to explore Berber villages. The adventure begins with a transfer from your accommodation to Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1,450m), where you will meet your Berber muleteer and guide.
Ouirgane - The first day offers a gentle acclimatization trek through the Ouirgane National Park. The terrain here is softer, featuring copper-green soil and juniper trees.
Tinzert - Spend the night at Tinzert Gite. The walking duration is approximately 4 to 6 hours.
DAY 2: TINZERT - AZZADEN VALLEY (AIT AISSA):
Azzaden Valley - After breakfast, ascend out of the Valley and journey to the stunning Azzaden Valley. The trek begins with a rushing mountain stream bordered by dense walnut forests, leading up to Toubkal and its sister peaks at the Valley’s head.
High Atlas Mountains - In Ait Aissa, enjoy an overnight stay in a village Gite. Walking time is 5 to 6 hours.
DAY 3: AIT AISSA - TIZI N MZIK - IMLIL:
High Atlas Mountains - Today’s journey features a magnificent climb out of the Azzadene Valley. Ascend the valley to Tizi Oussem, then descend to Imlil via the Tizi n Mzik pass (2489m).
Imlil - After enjoying lunch in Imlil, you will be transported back to Marrakech, allowing ample time to explore the city in the evening. Walking time is approximately 4 to 5 hours.
