Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Tacheddirt:

Marrakech - Begin the journey by departing from Marrakech after breakfast, heading towards Imlil via Asni.

Imlil - Upon arrival in Imlil, a lively market town and the primary starting point for trekkers, observe the bustling preparations of those setting off on their mountain adventures.

Tacheddirt - Meet the mule team and load your equipment before setting off on a picturesque walk through the valley towards Tacheddirt, situated about 8 kilometers from Imlil. The trail gently climbs to the Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,279m) and descends to the charming village of Ouaneskra. Continue for another half-hour to reach Tacheddirt (2,300m), where you’ll camp by the river.

Day 2: Tacheddirt - Azib Likemt:

High Atlas Mountains - Cross the valley and undertake a challenging climb to the Tizi Likemt pass (3,555m). The path can be tough due to loose scree, but the stunning view of the Toubkal massif makes it worthwhile.

High Atlas Mountains - Descend from the pass, following a lengthy downhill path leading to the village of Azib Likemt, where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 3: Azib Likemt - Tizi n’Ourai - Amsouzert:

High Atlas Mountains - This day is relatively easy but long, showcasing a variety of landscapes. From Tizi n’Ououraine (3,120m), enjoy spectacular views of the Toubkal massif, including the summit, the east face, and the Ifni Dome (3,876m).

Day 4: Amsouzert - Ifni Lake:

High Atlas Mountains - Arrive around lunchtime, allowing the afternoon to relax and enjoy the lake’s shore. Camp in the area for the night.

Day 5: Ifni Lake - Nelter Hut:

High Atlas Mountains - This day presents the most demanding part of the trek. Climb a steep path leading up a vast scree slope. Eventually, reach the Tizi n’Ouanoums pass (3,664m), a narrow passage between towering rock formations.

Toubkal - Descend through a series of zigzags until reaching Nelter Hut, a mountain refuge where you’ll spend the night (or camp outside as an option).

Day 6: Toubkal Summit - Imlil - Marrakech

Toubkal - Begin the day before dawn, following a well-marked route to the summit of Mount Toubkal. If weather conditions are favorable, it should take about 2-3 hours to reach the summit, offering panoramic views of the entire Atlas range and the plains of Marrakech.

Imlil - Descend to the villages of Sidi Chamharouch and Aremd, then follow the forested trail along the Mizane River back to the trailhead at Imlil.

Marrakech - For those staying in Marrakech, transportation will be provided by car at the end of the day.
