• Atlas Mountains - The operator will meet guests at their Riad/Hotel at 9am to begin a day trip to the Atlas Mountains and its picturesque valleys. After a 30-kilometer drive south, the first stop will be just before reaching the Asni valley to capture photos of the ancient Berber village of Azrou. Guests will have the chance to visit an argan cooperative to see how local women transform Argan Nuts into oil, while enjoying a cup of fresh mint tea, peanut butter, and local bread.
• Moulay Brahim - The journey continues deeper into the Atlas valleys, reaching an altitude of 1200m near the Moulay Brahim gorges. Here, guests will leave the car to enjoy a 30-minute camel ride. The tour then proceeds to the Ait Mizane valley, the operator’s home village, where the family will warmly welcome guests with fresh mint tea before serving a three-course meal (salad, tagine, and Berber couscous) on an open terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire valley. This is an opportunity to engage with the culture and learn about the locals’ way of life.

After lunch, the operator will guide guests on a unique and scenic walk (1-3 hours) through lush fields and typical Berber villages to meet more local people who have grown up in the Berber community. The operator will gladly share extensive knowledge of Berber culture and heritage.

• Marrakech - Following the walk, guests will be driven back to Marrakech, concluding the experience at around 5pm.

On Saturdays and Tuesdays, there will be a stop in Asni village or Tahanaout town for a tour of the local weekly market. Guests can navigate through the bustling crowd of local Berbers from surrounding villages who gather to socialize, exchange goods and animals, and purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, and other necessities.

Our journey takes us to Molay Brahim valley where you will swap the car for a camel ride through the juniper woodland for half an hour. After this unique camel riding experience, our journey continues across the Asni valley to either Sidi Fars or Ait Mizane valley, heading to a local Berber village for lunch.

Throughout this exploratory journey, you will partake in a balanced mix of driving, camel riding, and hiking through an array of Berber villages and verdant walnut groves.
