A visit to a women’s cooperative for Argan Oil is a must-see to understand how products are crafted from the oil and how this initiative empowers women to enhance their lives.

There are reportedly 137 women’s cooperatives operating throughout Morocco.

• Asni - The market in Asni is held on Saturdays and is definitely worth a visit. You’ll find a variety of items for sale, from animals and vegetables to jewelry and second-hand plumbing supplies! If you take this excursion on a Tuesday, you’ll visit the market in Tahnaoute instead.
  Time spent at the market is flexible: take a quick look around or stay longer if you wish to engage in some serious market bartering.

• Imlil - Upon reaching the starting point in Imlil, there will be a hike around the area.
  Explore the stunning mountain scenery, discover waterfalls, and walk through several Berber villages to visit a waterfall.

• Atlas Chateau - Then it will be time for lunch.
  Enjoy a traditional Berber meal prepared at the family home.

• Marrakesh-Imlil-Toubkal - After lunch, depending on your schedule and flexibility,
  continue with another walk.
  Then, meet the driver who will take you to experience a camel ride,
  and finally drive you back to Marrakech.

At 9 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel or the designated meeting point. From there, the journey will proceed to Tahnaout, where a visit to a women’s argan oil cooperative is planned.

Subsequently, if the departure is on a Saturday, the itinerary includes a visit to the weekly market in Asni. If departing on a Thursday, the market in Tahnaout will be visited. On other days, alternative enjoyable activities will be arranged.

The adventure continues to the Atlas Mountains. Upon reaching Imlil, there will be an option to either embark on a hike or savor a delightful meal prepared at the operator’s family home.

The exploration will include the stunning mountain scenery, viewing waterfalls, and walking through numerous Berber villages.

Following lunch, another walk will lead to the meeting point with the driver, who will transport you to Moulay Brahim Valley for a camel ride experience.

After the memorable experience in Moulay Brahim Valley, the driver will return you to your hotel or the meeting point in Marrakech.
