• Ouarzazate - Leaving Marrakech behind in the morning, we will head south towards the High Atlas. On the way, we will cross the mountain range via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, which stands at 2,260 meters high, enjoying the mountain road and its stunning landscapes. Along the road, we will see various Berber villages. At noon, we will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, the highlight of the excursion. This fortified city is the most famous in Morocco, known for being the filming location of movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Mummy. Here, we will have an hour of free time to eat. Once in Ouarzazate, we can explore part of the city, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, or delve into the cinema museum (entrance fees not included) to discover why Ouarzazate is known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” We will spend the night in Ouarzazate and return to Marrakech the next day in the late afternoon.
