Amazing Experience - We did the Agafay sunset tour and it was the highlight of our Morocco trip! The time provided for Quad and camel ride was perfect and created perfect balance between adrenaline rush and tranquility. The food was unexpectedly delicious and serving size was huge. And last but not the least, service was great! Each staff was friendly and attentive to our needs, specially Said who made booking and coordination a breeze. I had high expectations of the tour and I was not disappointed. Definitely worth the price!

Mesmerizing Morocco trip.... unforgettable - Traveler: German | Language: English --- "It started with engine revs and ended under a sky full of stars…" From the moment our driver Mohamed picked us up from our riad in Marrakech, I had a feeling this would be no ordinary evening. He greeted us with a big smile, offered bottles of cold water, and played soft Arabic music as we drove out of the city, watching the chaos fade into golden hills. The quad bike ride was the perfect jolt into adventure mode. I won’t lie—at first, I was nervous. The dusty terrain of the Agafay desert was rugged and raw, nothing like sand dunes but breathtaking in its own wild way. With the sun still high, we kicked up trails of dust, laughing into the wind. My hands were trembling with adrenaline as we paused at a cliff edge, the horizon stretching endlessly ahead. After that, it was time to slow down. Lahcen, our camel handler, gently wrapped a turban around my head and helped me climb onto the back of a calm, sleepy-eyed camel. That moment—swaying gently on the camel’s back as the sky blushed pink—felt like I had wandered into a dream. Everything was quiet except the soft pad of hooves and a warm breeze brushing my cheeks. As the sun dipped below the rocky hills, we reached the desert camp, glowing with lanterns and laughter. The agafay desert dinner show began under an open sky scattered with early stars. Seated around low tables, we were served warm, fragrant tajines that melted in our mouths—chicken with preserved lemon, slow-cooked lamb, fluffy couscous, and endless mint tea poured high with flair. Then came the magic—drums, chants, fire twirling. Gnawa musicians created a rhythm so deep it vibrated in my chest. I caught myself smiling nonstop. The Berber dancers invited us up—I hesitated, then joined, barefoot on the soft earth, twirling under firelight. My favorite part, though, was after the show. Everyone was quiet, scattered around the camp. I walked a few steps into the darkness and looked up. The stars felt impossibly close. A rare, full silence. Just my breath, the faint clink of tea glasses, and the occasional camel groan in the distance. It was hard to believe all this—adventure, beauty, peace—was just outside Marrakech. The quad bike and camel ride Agafay combo gave both thrill and serenity, and the dinner show wrapped it all in unforgettable warmth.

Fantastic driver (Abdul) that helped the experience - Highlight of the trip was my driver Abdul and learning about his experiences and take on Morocco. Agafay itself isn’t a sandy desert (something to be aware of if you think you’re going to one), it’s mostly a rocky landscape, but in the right location you can get amazing sunset views, which Abdul was great about.

Five stars isn’t enough - My wife and I did a solo excursion far into the desert to ride camels. We got unforgettable pictures and undying memories. Our driver was incredibly selfless. I believe his name was Said. When an issue arose with our original plans, he jumped on the chance to fix the problem before we ever knew there was one. He was supposed to be on vacation and had just returned home from a six hour drive. Yet, he did not allow that to diminish his perfect customer service and his beyond welcoming attitude. When it was incredibly hot, he purchased us water from his own money. His ability to speak five languages was amazing! This company sure does hire amazing people. I believe this one particular employee deserves a raise! He bent over backwards to make us feel like a part of the Moroccan family and shared precious knowledge of their culture and people. The camels were safe, reliable, and absolutely fascinating. The whole experience was done through real local people, and not just some gambit to give tourists a quick fake picture. It made memories to last. If you do one thing in Morocco, do this tour. With luck, you may be blessed to have Said as your driver! We were given the option to dawn authentic garments for our ride. My camels name was Hadeedja and I fell in love with him. Following our ride in the desert, we sat under a traditional nomad tent and drank authentic mint green tea and snacked on bits of local cookies. We shared personal stories and Said answered many questions about life in Morocco. He taught us unforgettable history, and gave some culture to us American white folks. Note: We had other pictures that were absolutely incredible, but I didn’t want to share our faces on the internet. Note #2: I am skeptical of everything and typically do not take risks. I was worried about doing this tour my wife booked and did not know what to expect. However, the entire time we experienced this tour, I felt safe and utterly cared for. I recommend this to anyone and everyone. It was completely safe and relaxing to not be worried!

Desert fun - This was the perfect Agafay excursion. I was looking for something straight forward without a lot of extra stops, dinner, etc. The company had very good communication via WhatsApp. We were picked up on time by our driver, Hicham. He was courteous, knowledgeable and kind. He drove us from the Medina to the Agafay for a lovely cup of mint tea and an hour long camel ride at sunset. Everyone was so polite and the facilities were clean. The camels seemed well cared for and it was a simple, well-run excursion. We were a group of 5 people and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great day! - It was a lovely experience! We were very well looked after, the experience was much more private than most on offer, and felt very special. Said and Kamal were super communicative, and really wonderful on the day - Kamal even went out of his way to take us as close to our Riad as possible at the end of day when the town centre was very busy. We would absolutely book again!
