Fun Desert Experience - When you arrive you go immediately on the camel ride. Dinner is quite tasty and filling. Pace yourself as the first course is not the main. The entertainers were engaging and a lot of fun. Well worth the money.

All-encompassing Excursion - Really pleasant experience overall. We were picked up by a luxuries van for the 1h ride. The camel ride during sunset was great, which was followed by really good Morroccan dinner (chicken tajine) and performances. We were particularly impressed by the fire show which ended the night well. Overall, a highly recommended activity for those who want to get out of the town for half the day!

Do not hesitate!!! BRILLIANT!!! - Brilliant experience! I went with a small group of friends and the experience was perfect from the beginning til the end. The organizers are on point, when I made my booking I hadn’t received my voucher, I contacted the by chat and they were very receptive. On the morning of the experience we received a message with the meeting point infos including a picture of the pick up car. The driver Rashid was on time and very friendly. The camel ride experience is a must, the whole team is professional, the food was excellent and so was the show. Our group was small (6 of us in total) it was PERFECT! I do recommend this Experience, you will not regret it! The scenery is breathtaking!!

Amazing Agafay desert experience - I booked this trip from home with a priority of ensuring we were in a small group and willing to pay more to achieve this. We were not disappointed and the trip surpassed our expectations. We were picked up in an air conditioned vehicle just the 6 of us, there had been a miscommunication on time of pick up so we were target hit in the 44 degree heat, our lovely driver stopped to buy us some extra cold waters which was much appreciated. It took about an hour to go from the medina to the camp, the camp itself we thought was perfect, deep enough into the desert for it to be truly wild, enough amenities (with excellent toilet facilities) but not too polished (so no swimming pool…). We sat on arrival in a sheltered area having freshly brewed mint tea and more water, there were two other small groups at the camp but no more than 15 in total. We had booked the sunset camel ride which meant a whole hour trip rather than 20 mins which one of the other groups had booked. We were dressed in traditional robes then got onto our camels. The camel ride was spectacular, we were led to a beautiful ridge to watch the sun go down, just incredible. We all felt very safe and the guide took lots of photos for us. Back at camp we were taken to a beautifully decorated tent, open at one side with traditional low tables and seats. A beautiful meal was served, 4 types of Moroccan salad, lemon chicken tagine and vegetable tagine, followed by watermelon. The chicken literally fell from the bone and was incredibly moist. We had all been suffering from food poisoning so were not able to eat too much which made us feel very poor guests. A very fun and interactive music performance as well as fire shower followed before our return to Marrakech. Cannot recommend enough!

Amazing - I had an amazing experience during my camel ride, dinner, and fire show in Agafay Desert, and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Amal. She was pleasant, informative, and patient throughout the entire evening. She took the time to explain the cultural significance of what we were seeing and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She even took photos for me, which I really appreciated as a solo traveler. She constantly checked in to ensure I stayed cool and hydrated — which goes a long way in the Moroccan heat. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the experience even more enjoyable. When I return to Marrakech, I will absolutely request her again. Highly recommend!

Classic Moroccan tourist experience - From comparing different reviews for this experience, it seems as though the tour may be subcontracted to various providers, which would mean reviews are of limited value to predict YOUR experience. That being said, I’ll give my review of the experience WE had: Our driver Said was great—punctual and friendly and kindly stopped to get us some water for the drive. The shopping stop at the argan oil cooperative feels a bit heavy-handed, but if you’re in the market anyway, it’s not a bad place to pick up a few things. Our transport to the ride was private, but we met up with other small groups for the camel ride, meal, and performances. The sunset camel ride was nice, if fairly brief, and the dinner and performances (musicians and fire show—tips were not requested but felt earned) were nice. Overall definitely a classic Moroccan tourist experience, and if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll be in the right place!

Camel Ride was Amazing - The camel ride was amazing and definitely made it worth it. There was confusion on pickup, as the reservation stated pickup was at 4:30pm, but at 5:00pm the operator called on WhatsApp to say that the pickup was at 5:30pm. Which led to us waiting for an hour in the Tinsmiths Square. Thankfully there are cafes everywhere and we stopped in for a drink while we waited. Recommend confirming the exact time and location with them before heading out.

An excursion which could have been better - Despite a change of car which made the start of this excursion a bit bumpy, we had a good time but we thought there were too many people - the camels ( dromadaires actually) seemed not in a good shape which made us feel not so comfortable riding them . The ride was also very brief and the poor weather with rain didn’t help . However the staff was helpful and dinner was ok . We really enjoyed the show anyway the 3 MAROCCAN musicians which were lovely . With hindsight , if you have more days in Marrakech, it’s probably better to stay 2 days in the Sahara desert with sand versus Agafay which is very rocky . The Get your Guide pictures were also misleading as I thought there would be sand with a nice fire … which was not the case at all. My bad for not researching better .
