The day begins with a meeting at your accommodation in Marrakech at 9:00 am. From there, the journey will take you through the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages, showcasing breathtaking landscapes and the Agafay Desert.
Witness the horizon transform from lush greenery adorned with seasonal fruits. The tour continues to the Imlil Valley at the base of the High Atlas Mountains, followed by a drive through Asni and the Kik Plateau to Amizmiz, a hub connecting numerous small Berber villages in the vicinity. The weekly souks on Tuesday (Tahnaout), Friday (Amizmiz), and Saturday (Asni) are vital to Berber culture, where local farmers from the hills bring their goods to market. After a refreshing mint tea break, the journey proceeds on foot to the source of Imi n Tala in the deep Amizmiz Valley, passing through traditional villages. A short walk in the village of Tnirt will lead to lunch in a traditional Berber home.
The tour continues by descending to the expansive Haouz plain, crossing the village of Ouled Mtaa, home to nomadic Arab tribes originally from the Sahara. Explore various villages before concluding the tour by traversing the Agafay Desert. The vehicle will navigate the rocky dunes, offering opportunities to capture photographs, including the sunset over the desert. The return to Marrakech is scheduled for around 6:00 pm.
