This was a brilliant trip... - This was a brilliant trip - we booked it the night before and still had great communication/everything well organized. The transport was straightforward and we were met by friendly people. The walk itself was beautiful and we did not find it touristy at all which was a relief. We did the walk safely in trainers and managed but we would have much preferred to have trail runners or boots on for the extra grip. The lunch was good and plenty of it which was good as we did work up an appetite after a couple of hours walk. The view from the top is well worth it! On the way down we got to walk through part of the village which was a nice way to end the walk. The best part was that our guide Abdul was extremely professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. It was my friends first time climbing to a mountain summit and he really helped her to feel calm, comfortable, and confident - offering her a hand to steady her or pointing out where to step if needed. I was also able to chat with Abdul and he is easy to have a conversation with and very open about his life. Overall very much recommend if you like mountains, walking up them, and want to get away from the busyness of the city.

Amazing hike, food and guide - Amazing hike! A must do for any keen hikers visiting Marrakech. Amazing views throughout, the tea and lunch was very good also.
Our guide Abdul spoke great English and was very supportive and friendly.
Top tips:
Grippy footwear like walking boots or walking trainers are important as there are some bits where you could slide if not wearing proper footwear.
Bring sun cream even if the weather doesn’t look sunny in Marrakech, you’ll be in the sun for most of the day.
Definitely do this walk if you have time and enjoy hiking it was one of our favourite parts of Marrakech!

Not a tourist attraction! We loved it - It was such a fun rewarding hike. Tho I do recommend to eat a carby breakfast as the hike is a bit long. I think it’s about 6 miles round trip, but very steep elevation (perhaps 800-1000 meters per mile?). Don’t quote me on it. The view was so worth it (esp on a non cloudy day). Bring water, bring snack. Portions of tangine (lunch) could be bigger but it was good and warm. Hit the spot!
Abdo was also super patient with our group of 7! The pick up was VERY on time and at our preferred location (thank you).
Also cool to see a whole village lives there!! Wow!! Very non touristy activity. Would recommend

Recommended! - It was amazing. We had booked a trip to 2600m altitude, because of a lot of snowfall last week the trip was adjusted. We walked up to 2000m altitude, but the trip was still beautiful. Along a waterfall, through villages, many views. And as icing on the cake a delicious lunch at our guide Rachid's house.
Everything was well arranged, the taxi picked us up in Marrakech, and took us in 1.5h to Imlil where we walked. Then returned by the same taxi around 17:30. You really get your money's worth.

It was a wonderful... - It was a wonderful experience from the outset. It was a snowy day but it was still a wonderful experience climbing the atlas mountain. We were warned the day before to be prepared for the weather. Our guide, Abdul was amazing. He was local to the area and knowledgeable of the geography and the different routes; safety and danger trouble shoots. We enjoyed the hiking, were informed of the mountains; local produce; culture of Berber etc. Abdul also took us to his home to meet his family and provided us with authentic Moroccan hpt food which was a bliss in the snowy weather. Overall we were quite impressed with the full trip. Unfortunately due to weather we could not do the summit and this is understandable.

Great hiking tour with great guide:) - So if you really want to go "hiking" then this tour is perfect. Everything was just flawless and great organized. The transfer from Marrakech to Imlil was great. Our driver was great. The tour itself was simply breathtaking. It was really a challenging hiking tour. In any case, you should bring experience and also decent hiking boots. That's exactly what I was looking for. The scenery was fantastic. Our guide was mega. He told us a lot about the history and life in the Atlas Mountains. The price for the transfer, guide, break with lunch was more than reasonable. There is nothing to complain about, quite the contrary. I'm looking forward to next time. Thank you very much for the great tour.

Amazing Hike, Absolutely Worth It! - We did a few different day trips during our stay, and this one was by far the best. It wasn’t touristy at all, which made the experience even more special. The hike itself is moderate, if you have a decent level of fitness, you’ll find it very manageable.
Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, fun, and really made the day memorable. Lunch was delicious too!
A few tips: wear grippy shoes as there’s quite a bit of scree, and bring layers because the temperature changes as you climb. Don’t forget water, some coins for the toilets, and a little extra for tipping.
Overall, a perfect day out. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience and... - Amazing experience and well worth doing to get some quiet from Marrakesh. Only an hour and a bit from the centre and a nice distance and difficulty if you’re reasonably fit and hike fairly often. Fine in trail runners and below the snow line in late Nov. Radouane was amazing and very knowledgeable about the local area and passionate about the history. Highlight of the trip for me and keen to come back and do Toubkal when I have longer.

Great hike, great views, great guide - Great hike & Radouin was SO patient with my elderly father (who is in pretty good shape) encouraging him to get to the top. Beautiful views & great ambiance with the group.

Great (just needed to be a little more challenging) - Well organised and all worked well. Beautiful scenery at the snow line.
We did 19km of mountain walking on good paths (until I asked for a more challenging route). Can be done in good trainers and as long as moderately fit.
If you are an experienced mountain walker this is not challenging and you may feel a little short changed. As Ramadan I felt guilty asking to do a little more to suit my pace and experience. Food was excellent and Abdul, my guide, was delightful. Definitely recommend to get out to the mountains and escape the madness of Marrakesh.
