Telouet Kasbah - Continue through the Ounila Valley and stop to visit the Kasbah of Telouet.
Ounila Valley - Proceed along the Ounila Valley to the village of Ait Benhaddou.
Ait Ben Haddou - Stop for lunch and visit the Mud-brick Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Ouarzazate - Pass through Ouarzazate, known as the Moroccan Hollywood due to the numerous films shot there. (Optional visit to the Cinema Studios).
Dadès Gorges - Continue the journey towards Dades Valley through Rose Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Overnight stay in Dades Valley.
DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – DRAÁVALLEY – ZAGORA
Todra River - After breakfast, drive to the top of Dades Valley for a beautiful view of the valley and mountain gorge. Head towards Todra Valley via Tinghir, a contrasting valley with rocky canyons and large palm trees. Make photo stops. Arrive at the famous Todra Mountain Gorge (altitude: 400m/1312ft) for a walk.
Draa Valley - Continue the journey to the Draa Valley, heading south towards the Saghrou Atlas Mountains. Experience volcanic rock formations contrasted with the green oasis of Draa Valley.
Zagora - Discover fascinating palm groves, oases, and ancient Kasbahs until reaching Zagora, “the Desert door.”
ZAGORA – TAMGROUTE – MHAMID – ERG CHIGAGA DUNES (SANDBOARDING)
Amezrou - After breakfast, enjoy a pleasant walk through the palm grove and oases to the Jewish quarter to visit the Kasbah of Amzerou.
Tamegroute - Drive to the 16th-century village of Tamegroute. Visit the Koranic school and its library, the Underground Kasbah, and the green pottery makers.
M’Hamid - Lunch in Mhamid with two options:
1 – Restaurant in Mhamid
2 – Picnic in the Desert (organized by the driver).
Erg Chigaga - Leave the tarmac road for off-road, Stones River, and Sand Dunes for 2 hours. Stop at the oases. Arrive at Erg Chigaga (largest sand dunes in the region) before sunset. Trade the vehicle for camels for a 1-hour trek on the sand dunes during sunset. Capture stunning photos as the sand turns red against the sky. Arrive at the Desert camp, check into a private tent, and enjoy a special evening with dinner and a campfire featuring drum players and Berber music.
CAMEL TREKKING AROUND THE ERG CHIGAGA SAND DUNES
Erg Chigaga - Witness the sunrise from the top of the dunes, observing the sand’s color contrast with the sky and sun. Enjoy breakfast. Camels are ready for trekking through the Erg Chigaga sand dunes. In 2 hours, reach the Tamares tree, where the guide will prepare lunch. Enjoy locally made kebabs and freshly baked bread like the nomads. Explore the area and return to the main Desert camp. Admire the beautiful sunset on the dunes again. Enjoy a special evening with dinner and a campfire featuring drum players and Berber music.
ERG CHIGAGA – LAKE IRIQUI – FOUMZGUID – TAROUDANT
Foum Zguid - Stop at the fossil beds for a fossil hunt. Drive along the mountain ridges of the Jebel Bani and acacia tree groves. Take a break upon returning to the tarmac road at Foum-Zguid village.
Tazenakht - Drive for 1 hour and stop for lunch at Taznakht village. Optionally, visit the women’s cooperative for carpet weavers, as Taznakht is renowned for this craft.
Taroudant - Travel through the Anti-Atlas, a UNESCO Argan-tree Bioreserve, and finally reach Taroudant, known locally as the ‘Grandmother of Marrakesh.’ It resembles a smaller version of Marrakech with its surrounding ramparts and was the country’s capital during the Saadian era in the sixteenth century before they moved to the Red City.
TAROUDANT – AGADIR – ESSAOUIRA
Agadir - Shortly after breakfast, leave Taroudant for Essaouira. After a 1-hour drive, arrive in Agadir, Morocco’s most famous resort town, known for its golf courses, wide crescent beach, and seaside promenade lined with cafes. Stop in Agadir to enjoy its long golden beach.
Sidi Kaouki - Take the Atlantic coast road, passing by many fishing villages, and stop in one for a lunch break.
Essaouira - On the way, join local women in the traditional process of extracting argan oil from argan nuts and see goats climbing Argan trees. Arrive in Essaouira and enjoy a free evening in this wonderful city, spending the night in one of the city’s charming Riads.
ESSAOUIRA - MARRAKECH
Essaouira - Meet the guide for a city tour, exploring its history and Islamic-Portuguese cultural blend.
