Merzouga - After breakfast, day 2 begins with a journey to Tinghir Oasis via the road of 1001 Kasbahs. The remnants of fortified villages, once bustling with trade until the early 20th century, are sure to captivate. A detour to a secondary road leads to the Oasis, where local farmers can be seen herding goats. A walk along the stream leads to Todgha Gorge, followed by a pleasant lunch at a café. The driver will then take you to Rissani, Morocco’s holiest town, known as the starting point for trading caravans heading to Tombouctou across the desert.

The journey continues over rocky terrain to Merzouga, where a camel caravan awaits. Experience a breathtaking sunset during a camel ride over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After this unforgettable experience, return to a Berber desert camp nestled in the Sahara Desert dunes.

Dinner will be an unforgettable experience, dining under the stars while being entertained by hosts playing drums throughout the night.

Merzouga Desert To Fes

Fes - The day begins with a camel trek to witness a stunning sunrise, followed by breakfast at the Lodge in Merzouga. After freshening up, bid farewell to group members returning to Marrakech. Meet the driver who will accompany you to Fes, joining a group of travelers (maximum of six) for the journey to Fez. The route passes through Ziz Valley to Errachidia, the capital of the Tafilalt region.

Enjoy a delightful lunch before continuing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber towns and the Cedar forests of Imouzzar and Ifran, arriving in Fes.

Be amazed at historical landmarks and picturesque landscapes such as Roses Valley, Skoura, and Boumalene Dades and El Kelaa des M’Gouna. Our route will take us through several Berber villages as we discover Todra Gorges and Tinjdad. In Erg Chebbi’s sandy dunes, we will visit a Berber encampment, and you’ll have the opportunity to ride a camel. As we make our way to Fes, we will traverse intriguing locations such as Arfoud, Errachidia, Ziz Valley, Meditlt, Cedar Forests of Azrou, Ifrane.
