Marrakech - Imlil - Tizi M’zik - Tamsoult
Marrakech - Begin your journey to Toubkal Mountain by traveling from Marrakech to Imlil (1,780m).
Imlil - Embark on a 6-hour trek from the Imlil Valley into the Azzadene Valley.
Mount Toubkal - During the trek, you will pass Tizi N’Mzik at 2,450m, the refuge at Azib n’Tansoult, and the Ighouliden waterfalls. Spend the night at the Lipeney and mountain refuge at 3,000m, or earlier at Azib n Tamsoult at 2,250m.
Tamsoult - Waterfall - Aglzzem - Toubkal refuge
Toubkal - This morning, enjoy a challenging climb out of the Azzadene Valley to the Toubkal Refuge via the Aguelzim pass at 3,560m. Lunch will be served with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountain Range. Overnight stay at the Toubkal Refuge at 3,207m.
Refuge - Mt Toubkal - Imlil - Marrakech
Toubkal - Start the day with an early breakfast before climbing Mt Toubkal (4,167m). If the weather permits, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert.
Imlil - Conclude your adventure with a descent back to Imlil, passing the refuge and following the well-trodden path. This is a long day, involving 8-9 hours of trekking with an ascent of 900m and a descent of nearly 2,500m back to Imlil. You will arrive in Marrakech around 6 pm.
