Marrakech - Begin an economical three-day desert journey from Marrakech to Merzouga early in the morning. Travel east from Marrakech through quaint suburban areas to reach the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy several stops to capture photos, admire the scenery, stretch, and savor a coffee.

Ait Ben Haddou - Ascend the winding roads to the renowned Tizi Ntichka pass, arriving at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the first major sightseeing stop of the day. This Berber fortified village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been a backdrop for iconic Hollywood films like Kingdom of Heaven, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator.

Ouarzazate - Continue to Ouarzazate to explore its main attractions. After enjoying lunch at a local café, proceed to Dades Valley, Skoura Oasis, and Klaa Mgouna, known as the capital of the Valley of the Roses, famous for its rose water distillation workshops.

Dades Gorges - Upon reaching Boumalne Dades, follow the Dades River along a narrow road lined with fortified Kasbahs to reach the Dades Canyons. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your Dades hotel.

DADES VALLEY – TINGHIR – MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT

Gargantas del Todra - Today’s adventure begins with a drive along the route of 1001 Kasbahs to the Tighir oasis. Take a detour to a secondary road leading to Todgha, where you can enjoy a walk in the oasis under palm trees and continue to Todgha Gorges.

Rissani - After some leisure time to appreciate the towering cliffs and a lunch break, depart early afternoon for Rissani, known for its date market and as the starting point for historic trade caravans crossing the Sahara to Timbuktu.

Merzouga - Proceed to Merzouga, passing through rocky desert landscapes. Upon arrival, relax in the refreshing pool before embarking on an evening desert adventure to the camp. Join the camel caravan and ride across the stunning, color-shifting sand dunes as the sun sets. Reach the Sahara desert camp before nightfall.

MERZOUGA – OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

Merzouga - After an early morning camel ride over the Erg Chebbi dunes, arrive at the camp operator’s lodge for breakfast, a shower, and, if time permits, a quick swim in the lodge pool.

Erfoud - Meet the driver and vehicle to head back towards Agdz and Ouarzazate. If interested, visit the Erfoud fossil sites.

Marrakech - After some free time for lunch, continue the journey to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains in the afternoon. The affordable shared three-day desert tour concludes in Marrakech at 19:00.
