An unforgettable desert experience - I just returned from an unforgettable 3-day excursion to the Merzouga desert oasis, and it exceeded every expectation. Our guide, Yossef, was incredible—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the culture and beauty of the Sahara. From the moment we left Marrakech, everything was smooth and well organized. The drive through the Atlas Mountains was stunning, and Yossef made the journey fun with stories, history, and plenty of opportunities for photos and breaks. But the real magic began when we reached the dunes of Merzouga. Riding camels into the desert at sunset felt surreal—the light, the silence, the endless waves of sand… it’s something I’ll never forget. The camp itself was comfortable and welcoming, with great food and a truly authentic atmosphere. After dinner, the team gathered around a bonfire and treated us to live folk music, drumming and singing under the stars. It was one of those rare travel moments that feels both peaceful and electric at the same time. Waking up before dawn for the sunrise camel ride was absolutely worth it. Watching the sun spill over the dunes in total quiet was easily one of the most memorable moments of my entire Morocco trip. If you’re considering this excursion—do it. And if you get Yossef as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience. I highly, highly recommend this tour.

Great trip to dessert - We had a lovely experience going from Marrakesh to Mergouza and to Fez. We had two guides Aissa for first 2 days and Mustafa for the last day. Both were great and gave us lots of useful information. We were actually not with our tour group for the entire trip as they were going back to Marrakesh. Aissa sorted us out and allowed us join another group (with Mustafa) after dessert camp. The journey was very smooth, we saw lots of interesting landscape and culture. We were mostly on time, and didn't get hassled too much which was a huge plus. We had an amazing time (this is actually my 2nd time going to Morocco dessert) and would recommend this trip.

Desert and Wonderful Culture - Chaima was our guide. Wonderful and attentive at all times, we had a very enjoyable conversation and she was always open to answer all my curiosities about the Moroccan religion and culture. I loved the experience, the accommodation, the food and everything wonderful. We met ait ben haddou, gorges of todra, ouarzazate, tanghir, the community of the Berbers, their dialect. Lots of culture in a single tour, she guided us at all times so everything was under control!! And in the desert we had a magical night, we had dinner, we saw the stars and we had traditional Berber festival!!! Thank you Chaima!! If you come to Morocco I recommend them with closed eyes ♥️

Merzouga tour is worth it but it can be improved - Great guide and driver. Wish that the food was of better quality and price. Take note that lunch will consist of various buffets around the tour which are around 120 MAD for a plate +15 MAD for a drink, and mostly standard bland food. That’s my biggest complaint. Breakfast was good though. The local guides were sometimes amazing, others were shaky on basic English. The final stop in Merzouga is definitely the highlight of the tour, dinner at the camp was certainly better.

Our cold experience in Morocco - We visited morocco in December it was very cold in the desert and travelling on camels at 6 am with temperatures close to 0 took a lot out of us. The food provided was average. The bus ride was quite long and tiring as well. The views and pictures were great

High hopes but keep very low expectations - Poor communication all around. Once I paid, there was no communication from the tour company even though i sent several messages about the pickup point and the ending time frame. I felt very rushed from place to place including being driven in a car to catch up to the group already on their camels. I was separated not once but twice from my group to another group and then from that group to a separate desert camp for my final dinner and sleeping arrangements. The hotel first night smelled of sewage backing up through the drains and water was leaking in the bathrooms. Some guests didn’t even shower as the water did not drain properly. I also was told that the regular camp only had cold water for showers from a hose. Probably fine if you’re on a budget, have a strong stomach and traveling with someone, but I would definitely not recommend this tour company if traveling solo and trying to meet/ make new people. So yes they took me to all the places but they kept killing the vibe with all the shuffling around and honestly I left with more questions than answers.. I kept my phone on so I could google everything I wanted to know about Morocco, Berber culture camels etc. as the guides spoke very little about the experiences and had a hard time answering questions.
