MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES VALLEY

Marrakesh - The journey begins at 8 am with a pick-up from the hotel in Marrakesh, embarking on a 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains.

Atlas Mountains View - The route includes a passage through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering opportunities to stop and enjoy the panoramic views and photograph the charming Berber villages nestled in the landscape.

Aït Benhaddou - Explore the renowned fortified ksar of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. This location has been featured in numerous films such as Gladiator (2000), The Mummy (1999), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Babel (2006), and many others. It also served as a backdrop for parts of the TV series Game of Thrones, the Brazilian series O Clone, and The Amazing Race Australia 6.

Ouarzazate - Enjoy some leisure time for lunch in Ouarzazate, followed by a visit to the Taourirt kasbah, one of Morocco’s most stunning ksars.

Boumalne Dades - The journey continues through The Rose Valley on the way to Boumalne Dades, a picturesque area with over 700,000 palm trees and numerous kasbahs. The valley is famous for its Damascene roses, cultivated for rosewater, and hosts the annual Rose Festival in May, a significant cultural event in Moroccan history. The day concludes with an overnight stay in the Dades Valley.

DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA

Dadès Gorges - After breakfast, the day starts with a visit to a vantage point in the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Dades Valley and its majestic kasbahs.

Merzouga - Arrive at the stunning Merzouga dunes, where a camel ride leads to a nomadic camp amidst the sand dunes. Enjoy the sunset from a dune’s peak before dinner and an overnight stay in a tent under the starry sky.

Merzouga - Middle Atlas Mountains - Fes

Ziz valley - Rise early to witness the spectacular desert sunrise. The journey continues towards the Medina of Fes, traveling north through the expansive Ziz Valley.

Middle Atlas - The route passes through the Middle Atlas Mountains, standing at 1488 meters above sea level, with Jbel Ayachi towering at 3737 meters.

Fez Mellah - The tour concludes in the late afternoon with the arrival in Fes, after passing through the Middle Atlas mountains, marking the end of the three-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.
