The first day of the 2- day desert group starts with a pick-up at your Marrakech accommodation around 7:45 for a prompt departure at 8 AM. We will drive through the scenic road Tichka pass 2,260 m altitude which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains.
After crossing most of the Atlas range, the guide stops for lunch and exploration of the old Kabah village at Ait-Benhaddou.
After exploring the city of Ouarzazate, the trip will continue south through the beautiful Oasis along the Draa valley. We will finally reach Zagora, and we will start a camel-riding trek in the sunset to explore the region or head straight to the desert camp, where the dinner will be served.
Day 2 : Zagora - Ouarzazate

The second day begins just before sunrise with an early camel ride that will explore the surrounding areas as you take in the morning sun. then, you will sit down for a traditional breakfast. On the way back to Marrakech, the driver/guide will make timely stops to have lunch and explore the beautiful sites at landmark places along the way.

Beautiful mountain and desert adventure - This was a perfect trip ! We spent a night in the desert , riding camels to our camp where we sat around the fire enjoying tea before they cooked a lovely dinner . After we sat looking at stars and listened to the drums . They looked after us so well . The driver on day 1 picked us up from our hotel and drove us through the beautiful Atlas Mountains and then stayed with us for the whole two days. We were a lovely small tour group and we got on really well- all different ages . The guided tours were great but the highlight was waking up in the desert seeing the sunrise .

An unforgettable Sahara desert adventure - This was. Perfect trip . We were picked up at the hotel and driven over the spectacular Atlas Mountains with a lovely small group of people who were from all over the world-Chile , Italy , Singapore. We stopped at Ait Ben (where they filmed Gladiator ) for a couple of hours and had lunch and a tour of the old town before heading to the desert . We then rode camels into the desert to our camp. We had a great clean tent with lots of blankets. We drank tea with an open fire , they cooked us dinner and we enjoyed the stillness of the desert before they filled the night with drums before bed . The next morning we rode out on camels to return to Marrakesh. It’s perfect if you only have a short time. The guides , the driver , the camp staff were wonderful and kind . Thank you ! It was unforgettable.
