Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora via Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate

Begin the day with a beautiful drive through the High Atlas Mountains, traveling through the Tizi N’Tichka to the Zagora desert, and enjoying the charming villages nestled on the mountainside. The first stop on the journey to the Zagora desert is the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a renowned filming site for movies like Gladiator and Babel. After having lunch at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the journey continues towards the Zagora desert, passing through lunar-like landscapes and the rugged Pre-Sahara and desert routes to Zagora. As the Zagora desert nears, the first sight of the Sahara desert’s captivating sand dunes will appear. A camel trek through the Zagora desert offers breathtaking views of the sunset and sunrise. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Zagora.

Day 2: Zagora to Marrakech via Draa Valley and Ouarzazate

Following breakfast in the Zagora desert, the journey back to Marrakech begins, with a stop in the town of Ouarzazate. The drive back to Marrakech includes traveling through the Tizi N-Tichka pass, which provides stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
