What a rush - Absolutely one of the wildest and most unforgettable experiences of our Australia trip.
We were originally supposed to skydive in Wollongong, but our jump day was cancelled due to wind conditions. While disappointing at first, the team handled the rescheduling professionally and safety was clearly the priority, which honestly made us feel even more comfortable going through with the experience.
During the rescheduling process we ended up switching to the Newcastle location — and it turned out incredible. The staff and instructors were energetic, reassuring, and made the entire experience feel exciting rather than intimidating.
The flight up the coastline alone was unreal, but stepping out of the plane at 15,000 feet over the beaches and ocean is something I’ll never forget. The freefall was pure adrenaline and the views during the parachute descent were absolutely insane.
The photo/video package was 100% worth it because there’s honestly no way to fully describe the experience afterward without seeing it again.
For anyone visiting Australia and considering skydiving: do it. It ended up being one of the biggest highlights of the entire trip. I also thoroughly enjoyed chatting with our shuttle driver, I forgot his name, but after showing him our Great White Shark cage dive experience earlier in the trip in Port Lincoln, he mentioned how he worked on the documentary film, “Blue Water, White Death” in 1971 which came out before Jaws which was such a fascinating detail to learn. Definitely check out this company for your next skydive in Australia regardless of the location you jump from!

Stunning drop zone - A great experience! We were picked up in a minibus from central Sydney and driven straight to the drop zone (with a comfort break on the way). Once there, the check-in process was very smooth and we were harnessed up and ready to jump within about 30 minutes. Very minimal standing around (and even then it's still fun to watch the plane taking off and people parachuting back down while you wait). The team are all friendly and make sure you know what to expect, they're all professionals who have been in the business for years and you can't help but feel safe in their care. The drop zone itself is absolutely stunning, with the sea on one side and inlets on the other. We were incredibly lucky to have mostly clear skies, which meant the views were spectacular. The only slight downside was my husband's tandem master's camera - his photos are very fish-eyed! But other than that, absolutely can't fault the set-up. The only thing to really be aware of is that there is very limited food available, just a small coffee shack or a vending machine, so bring food if you think you'll need it.
Once everyone has jumped, the minibus is ready to whisk you back to the city - all in all we were back in just over 6 hours.

Best views, best experience - An awesome experience purchased for my son for his 18th. He loved it and is something he will never forget.
The team were fantastic and I rate them all highly. The views from the video and photos looked amazing and my son said it was spectacular. I couldn’t think of a better place for this experience.
Some info that might help anyone who has booked this or is thinking about it, based on our experience.
Firstly, it is very weather dependent. To the point that the first 2 bookings were postponed, the third booking they actually got kitted up and went up in the plane only to come back in the plane because there was too much wind. It is safety first all the way. Fourth time was the charm for us and our son had a great experience.
I tried to find out how long it would take. Obviously this is also dependant on the day but in our experience - jump attempt 1 we got to the airport and it was literally lightening and thunder. We could have hung around for it to clear but decided to rebook. I think people who went on this day still did the jumps after the storm had finally cleared.
Attempt 2 was all day rain, it was cancelled before we even left home (around 6am).
Attempt 3, check in time was 6am, everyone must have been a little early as the plane was taking off about 615am
Attempt 4, the actual successful jump! Check in was 7am. The plane went up at 745am, our son was back on land just after 8am. When we got there a group was landing and then another group went up before ours.
Those three groups all landed at the airport.
All in all I rate this highly as an experience, my daughter and parents both want to do this now! The team put safety first, were friendly and made the experience something to always remember (in the best way)!

I want to go again! - Super fun. Best to wear dark pants as you land on your bum and could end up with grass and dirt stains on your pants. When you check in make sure you are in the same plane with the people you want to jump with. You may want to jump in separate planes so there is someone on the ground to take video of your landing. The price of pictures is $180 and goes up if you want a video. Overall the best part of our trip.

Berauschendes Abenteuer! - was an overwhelming adventure. Pure adrenaline. I felt like a glider pilot - unforgettable. I felt extremely safe from take-off to landing. My instructor Byron was simply the best!

You must do this! - Unbelievable day. Amazing experience. Truely a must do in every life time. Slick professional company, most scenic place to jump ever. Great video and stills of my daughter was sent to us as we got in the car. Highly recommended. Trying really hard not to do it more often.

Great jump! - We had the best time jumping last week. I had Joe and husband had Byron. They were both fab and Bill on the ground was lovely and full of amazing life experiences. The views were amazing and it was not as scary as i was anticipating - more exciting. Landing on the beach was great fun. Thoroughly recommend it.
