I provide a full-day private driving tour to see the beautiful Seven Lakes in the Fann Mountains of Tajikistan. The first six lakes are accessible by car, and tourists will be able to see local villages along the way. The seventh lake is accessible by a short hike and is a great place to have a picnic at midday. After visiting the Seven Lakes, we will return to Panjakent to visit the local bazaar, the city center, and the ruins of the ancient settlement Sarazm. This tour provides a fun and interesting day seeing some of the best sites Tajikistan has to offer, from the incredible mountain views of the Seven Lakes to the daily life in a small Tajik city to the ancient Silk Road history of this incredible part of the world.

Seven Lakes & More - Thanks to Rohib for an amazing day in Tajikistan. He was a gracious host, with an immaculate Mercedes and excellent English skills. In addition to the seven lakes, we visited the bazaar in Panjakent and Sarazm excavations.

Great cross border day trip to the seven lakes - Very nice day trip from Samarkand. We were picked up at our hotel in Samarkand, brought via taxi to the Tajikistan border, which we had to cross walking. In Tajikistan we were picked up by our guide and driven to the next supermarket to grab some food. After that we were heading for the marvelous seven lakes. Each one is different, each one has a different color and each one is located in a fantastic scenery. Everything was well organized. Our guide was professional, super friendly and spoke good English.

Fantastic private day tour in Panjakent - If you are looking for a fantastic guide in the Panjakent area, look no further than Rohib! He is a very safe driver, and is attentive to the needs and requests of his passengers (e.g. toilet breaks, a pharmacy and grocery stop, and stopping for photos along the way between the lakes whenever we wanted which was very frequently).
Rohib is good humoured, easygoing, friendly, has great English skills as well as cultural and historical knowledge of Tajikistan. We had an incredible day with him, seeing the Seven Lakes in the Fann Mountains, the Ancient ruins of Panjakent, a couple of museums and a delicious lunch at a spot where the locals eat.
Thanks for making our short time in Panjakent memorable!

Rohib is a great guide... - Rohib is a great guide who takes care to make the trip unforgettable. We visited all seven lakes, the Rudaki Museum and Sarazm. He also found us a place for lunch that had a very traditional Tajik vegetarian dish. We would book with him again I the future.

All well organized, the... - All well organized, the day was very nice and the lakes are beautiful.
Rohib let us stay at the last lake as long as we wanted and it was very pleasant relaxing there. Highly recommended!

fantastic experience with a fantastic guide! - Rohib was fantastic (+992 93 195 0008). He communicated with me via WhatsApp and arranged for a driver to take me from my hotel in Samarkand to the border and then met me himself once I entered into Tajikistan. His English was great, he was very friendly, and he helped take pictures of me at each of the lakes. The lakes and the surrounding scenery were beautiful, as well as an interesting drive to get there and back, too. The colors of the water are incredible - sometimes greens and blues in the same body of water. He also adjusted my trip so that I could visit additional sights before taking me back to the border, where my driver from the morning was waiting for me. Highest of recommendations!

First class trip, reliable, great communication, Rohib can you assist you with your Tajik needs - Rohib was extremely helpful with many legs of our journey through Tajikistan, culminating in this great day trip. All 7 lakes were uniquely different, and they certainly became more impressive the higher up you went. The journey takes you through village life with some wonderful sights. It's about a 5 hour round trip with Rohibs excellent safe driving on the unsealed parts.

Excellent company to organise a Seven Lake trip - Excellent trip to the Seven Lakes in Tajikistan. Right from first contacting Rohib, he was always available to answer questions. Trip ran like clock-work, even pictures and names of the drivers who would be taking where sent to me the day before. Highly recommend, much better price than booking through hotel or agencies in Samarkand.

Perfect Tour – Exceeded All Expectations! - We had an amazing time on this tour – it couldn’t have been better!
Everything was perfect from the moment we were picked up.
All our wishes were taken into account, and we were even able to customize the tour ourselves.
