Great afternnon shelling - Shelling excursion ona private boat, 6 passengers only. Clean boat, personable and expert captain who joined us on our hunt for shells on 2 unique beaches. Trip was rescheduled for the afternoon due to optimize tide. Enjoyable and safe trip, friendly local boater who took pride in is hometown and his business.

Beautiful Shelling Adventure! - We had a great time shelling the Ten Thousand Islands with Everwater Charters! The booking process was very easy and availability was fairly ample. We were thrilled to explore some parts of Florida that are less accessible - it made for a fun and unique way to spend the day for these boat-less native Floridians. We met Captain Tyler early in the morning at the marina (a hike from our hotel in Bonita, but not a terrible drive at that time of day). It was pretty chilly outside, as a front had just moved in, and there was a negative tide so we were expecting some good shelling. The ride to the island was fairly quick, and we were among the first at Dickmans Island. Other groups were there but it didn’t feel overcrowded. We walked mostly by ourselves and Captain Tyler would occasionally check in to steer us to certain areas or show us some of his finds. He found some amazing shells (maybe the best of the trip - he is an expert, after all) that he gave to us to take home. My wife and I found most of what we were hoping to, that are not as common our home beach, including true tulips, gaudy nauticas, lace murexes, king’s crown conchs, a few small horse conchs, egg cases, sponges, and more. I even found two albino shells - a lightning whelk and a king’s crown! Booking the six hour tour allowed us to walk the entire length of the beach/island without worrying about time. The weather was not on our side, though, and our cold and windy shelling day turned into a rainy, cold, and windy shelling day. We really wanted to do one more island, however, so we hopped over to Caxambas/Little Dickmans, which is essentially an island made of shells. I so wish we could have stayed out longer because there was so much to see and sift through, but after less than half an hour there, we had to call it quits. Our clothes were soaked and we were freezing. Captain Tyler was so kind to let us stay out for as long as we did, and even commended us on being the last to leave the area. We will DEFINITELY be back to the Ten Thousand Islands with Everwater Charters!

This shell trip could not have been any better! - My daughter has been obsessed with watching shelling videos and a trip to the 10,000 islands was her dream. Captain Ryan gave us an amazing morning. He was very knowledgeable about the different kinds of shells and where to find them, he is a super nice guy, and an excellent captain of a boat. Don’t often say this, but it really could not have been any better.

Shelling tour - Captain Ryan took us out to 3 different islands. He was the best! He did hunt with us but didn’t hover. He searched for shells and offered us all his finds. He pointed out the different animals and birds. Saw bald eagle and osprey nests and dolphins playing in the waves. He was loaded with historical information. We will definitely use him again. Thanks captain.

Just Book It! You Won't Regret It! - My husband and I booked a private shelling tour with Everwater and it was the most amazing day! Captain Jason was so incredibly kind - it was the perfect mix of learning and fun! He is so knowledge able about shells, the islands, their history, the animals and ecology. Since we booked a private tour, we were able to personalize and switch things up as we wanted. We shelled on one island for a few hours, then popped to another island for sand dollars, then went to visit the different pods of dolphins in the area. One of the pods even put on a beautiful show for us as they jumped and swam in our boat's wake. It was the most amazing experience and we are already planning our next excursion with Captain Jason. Thank you so much!

Great experience for the entire family - We had an absolutely wonderful time on our private shelling tour with Capt. Rene! This was a last-minute decision to celebrate our granddaughter Kylie’s 12th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Kylie has been following JOJO and JASON with Everwater Charter AND Tours on social media and came onboard already full of excitement and shell knowledge—she was thrilled to identify almost every shell she found. Capt. Rene was the perfect guide: patient, entertaining, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to engage with everyone—from grandparents to Kylie’s 8-year-old sister—and made sure the experience was fun and educational for all ages. We found so many beautiful shells, saw dolphins, and even learned new things we didn’t expect. It was a truly special day for our family and one we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a unique, personal, and memorable experience on the water

Fabulous Experience with Capt. Tyler & Everwater - Couldn't have asked for more except the elusive Junonia shell but that just means I have to come back!! My friend and I went out with Captain Tyler and had an absolute blast! From watching the dolphins 'body surf' on the wake behind the boat to canvassing the remote island for treasures to add to my shell collection, it was a perfect day! I cannot recommend Everwater enough!
