• Moray - The tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. The first destination is Moray, a remarkable site featuring circular terraces constructed by the Incas for agricultural experimentation. Situated at an altitude of around 3,500 meters, this location showcases the Incas’ sophisticated understanding of agriculture and diverse climate conditions. During the tour, the guide will provide insights into how these terraces were utilized to cultivate and adapt various plant species.
• Salinas de Maras - Following the visit to Moray, the journey continues to Maras, a quaint town that retains aspects of its colonial and Andean heritage. A stroll through its streets offers an opportunity to learn about the local community’s history and traditions.
• Salinas de Maras - The next stop is the Maras Salt Pans, a truly unique regional attraction. Thousands of small salt pools are carved into the mountainside, where salt water is directed and naturally evaporates to produce salt. This traditional practice, maintained by local communities, dates back to pre-Columbian times.

After completing the visits, the tour returns to Cusco, with drop-off at Cusco’s Plaza de Armas. Here, travelers can choose a restaurant for lunch according to their preference.
