• Plage de Tarqui - Our first stop is the fish market, where we will discover how local fishermen bring fresh fish to our shores and tables. Next, we will explore the boat factory to observe the construction of fishing boats.
• Plage de Tarqui - At the boatyard, you will have the chance to see the craftsmanship involved in building fishing boats.
• Tagua Store - We will tour a Tagua Factory to learn about the processing of tagua nuts, also known as vegetable ivory, into beautiful buttons and figures.
• Montecristi - Experience a hat weaving demonstration where an artisan will showcase the weaving, ironing, shaping, and pressing of a hat, explaining the entire process from start to finish.
• Museo Ciudad Alfaro - We will visit Ciudad Alfaro, a complex dedicated to honoring former president Eloy Alfaro, who, despite his wealth, fought against inequality in 1895. It is also where our most recent constitution was signed in 2008.

Afterward, we will visit a shop to see the weaving of Montecristi hats, with time to shop and explore downtown.

Following this, visit the Ciudad Alfaro museum, rich in art and history. On the return journey, be sure to capture a photo of the iconic weaving woman statue at the roundabout.
