Accessible by boat from Barreirinhas, the journey itself is a unique experience. At Caburé, visitors can alternate between swimming in the river and the sea, enjoying warm, crystal-clear waters. The tour begins departing for the boarding point at 8:20 AM, with departure times varying based on the distance of each location. Once aboard the speedboat, the journey along the river lasts approximately 40 minutes until reaching the village of Vassouras. During the rainy season, this area features deep lagoons ideal for swimming. The highlight here is the presence of lively capuchin monkeys. Following this, the tour returns to the boat and proceeds to the village of Mandacaru, where visitors can ascend the Preguiças Lighthouse for a stunning panoramic view. Additionally, there are craft shops, caipirinhas, and ice creams featuring local flavors. The final stop is Caburé Beach, a sandy peninsula bordered by the river on one side and the sea on the other. Lunch will be enjoyed at one of the beach’s restaurants. Please adhere to the pilot’s instructions; the return journey typically begins around 2:30 PM, with an expected arrival by 3:30 PM.
