The Amazon touched our hearts deeply - Exploring the Amazon with Toniel, an experienced guide from Joshua's Amazon Expeditions, was an unforgettable experience for us.
Our guide grew up in a tribe here in the Amszonas. He was able to give us valuable knowledge about plants, animals and culture. In addition, his English was very good. We were lucky that there were only two of us on the tour all day. That made it even more personal. I would also like to praise the Capten who drove us everywhere and accompanied us. He responded so well to us and immediately went slower than we wanted to take a photo or video. Great compliment!
The lodge was clean, lovingly prepared and the food the best I had here in Brazil. So simple and so fresh and good! My girlfriend is an omnivore and I'm vegan. You have fulfilled all wishes. Awesome!

Would recommend this tour 10/10 - I really enjoyed staying with you! They will share so many knowlegde about the area. So cool! And all the dolphins wauw!! Would 10/10 recommend this

Best part of our trip to Brazil! - This was the best part of our trip around the country. Our guide, Sophia, knew everything and everybody as she grew up on the tributary where Tapiri Lodge is located. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and she made it fun and exciting for all. The lodge itself is clean and comfortable, with good food and is right where the river dolphins like to hang out. The logistics were very well organized and we can only say great things. We highly recommend Joshua’s expeditions and Sophia as your guide!

Fantastic experience - This is a very professionally organised trip. The lodge we stayed at was great, nice food and friendly staff. The boat trip and jungle walk are effectively private tours and our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and great company. I would highly recommend this trip! There is a fair bit of down time between the excursions so it worth bringing a book or two to pass the time

From start to finish, the experience was seamless, exciting, and deeply memorable. Our guide, Julio, was outstanding—super knowledgeable, incredibly engaging, and fantastic with our kids. He made the jungle come alive with stories and facts, and his patience and warmth really stood out.
The Tapiri Floating Lodge was a perfect base. The hosts were welcoming, the lodges were clean and comfortable, and the food was genuinely lovely. Even our picky 10-year-old happily ate everything offered—which says a lot!
And of course, the Amazon itself was just spectacular. The wildlife, the river, the sounds—everything exceeded our expectations. I can’t recommend this trip enough for families or anyone looking to experience the Amazon in a safe, enriching, and unforgettable way.

Experience of a Lifetime - Over the top! Our guide Ken was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain details of the rain forest and how tourism will help protect their environment. The lodge was basic but extremely clean and air conditioned. The food was basic with fish, chicken and beef but so delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

Wow! - This was an incredible adventure. Kennedy, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area. He could name all the birds and monkeys. The activities were varied and suitable for the rainforest adventure. The lodge was also nice. Nelson, the owner, was kind. The food was tasty, and the sleeping accommodations were simple yet appealing. Our room even had an air conditioner. Don’t forget to spy on the bats in the dark near the lodge.

Good foods and tour guide. Terrible accommodation. - Programs: Good. We have seen and learned a lot from the activities.
Guide: Our tour guide Motta is very good. same the the boat operator. We were really pleased to have them both.
Food: Simple, fresh. Taste very good. Much better than the fancy restaurants in Manaus.
Room: Terrible!!! The river water is not filtered well. It is yellow and smells. We used bottle water to brush teeth. The air conditioner is broken. Imagine sleep in the hot and humid room without air conditioner. I was told the place is overbooked. They put us in the room that is supposed to be for the tour guides. This is NOT we paid $1100 for!!!
