Additionally, the “dark cliff” (scogliera buia) is noteworthy, a unique coastal stretch that remains in shadow as the mountain peaks tower over it, even at midday.

Regrettably, there are virtually no beaches here. However, many visitors may not miss the beach, given that the Path of Love (Sentiero dell’Amore), renowned throughout the Cinque Terre, begins in Manarola, and a nearby vineyard offers a delightful wine cellar.

While there is a steady stream of visitors during the day, by late afternoon, Corniglia returns to its naturally tranquil state.
