Excellent trip to explore Bahrain, may be try another month, not Ramzaan. - Bahrain is an island rich in a number of natural resources. It is connected to Saudi Arabia via a 28 km Causeway. Our Guide Maher, a well educated man and well versed in Bahrain history, was on time after having contacted us on WhatsApp beforehand. Due to Ramzaan there were a number of restrictions on this tour. The included lunch of course didn't happen. We were first taken to the Royal Family Camel Farm where we saw many camels of different ages but unfortunately they were confined to small enclosures. It was sad to see how some of the handlers treated the captive camels in these small enclosures. We were told these were not racing camels and are not used for meat but just for the Royal family's entertainment. We went to the Formula 1 museum but did not see the race track as such, we were supposed to see it. We saw the relatively new Grand Mosque, not all that ornate but still very attractive. We saw only a small part of the very large and modern National Museum. In Bahrain there is a huge number of over 4000 year old Dilmund burial mounds in the open all over the place. We were able to see one explored mound close up. It has fascinating history. Not on same scale as the Pyramids but akin to them. We were also able to see the the Fort and its walls both inside and outside facing the sea. Quite a bit of "land" im Bahrain is actually "reclaimed" from the sea, just like other Middle East countries and Bahrain also has its fair share of the "new architectural" buildings. We also visited the Oil Fields and saw the First Derrick, which no longer produces any oil but it is almost a "shrine". We were supposed to see The Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia but we just drove past it, disappointing. All in all we did not cover all the items stated on the itinerary but our guide is excellent and very knowledgeable and more importantly very entertaining.

Well worth a days trip in Bahrain but one cannot cover all that was promised - Bahrain is an island rich in a number of natural resources. It is connected to Saudi Arabia via a 28 km Causeway. Simply a brilliant tour with Maher - As other reviewers have said, Maher does an incredible tour. He is rightly proud of his homeland of Bahrain, and showed me and the other two guests the main sights of Bahrain with passion and detail. After the tour, I would recommend revisiting the main sights such as the Bahrain National Museum again to spend more time. There is also a great cafe at the museum to have a break. Also visit the National Theatre next door which you see from the outside of the tour, but a peek inside would be well worth it.

A well run, educational and comfortable day out - A comprehensive tour given by the very knowledgable guide Maher. Maher showed a high level of professionalism, was caring, had very clear English, was able to answer questions, was punctual, and importantly, a very safe driver! It was a little on the pricey side but meant that I got to tick off many of my must see locations such as The Tree of Life, Dilmun Mounds, a camel farm and the oil wells. We finished after 7pm, so a big day. The car was clean and comfortable. A great day!

The best of Bahrain! - It was a full day south to north tour (9 am- 18-19 pm). It was containing the best and most of the tourist attractions in Bahrain. We started with the south part: we visited the dilmunian tombs, then we stopped at the very first oil well, we took amazing pictures with the tree of life, we saw the camping places of local people, we visited the Royal camel farm: the camels were very friendly, everybody could pat them. I got carried away by these sweet animals. Then we went to Formula 1. I don't have to say, that it was fantastic! We even were lucky, because (I think: maybe Formula 3 cars, but I am not sure) cars were practicing, so we took some awesome photos. In the store I am recommending to everybody to buy the magnet about the circuit. They are giving it in a very elegant way. It is a great souvenir or gift! Then we were taken to the north part. We visited Al Fateh Mosque, which is a must do activity. Is a beautiful mosque with a very well organized guided tour. Abayas are available for women (free of charge). We took amazing pictures with Bahrain's iconic building: the World trade center!!! Then we were taken to have lunch in a local restaurant. The food was very tasty! Again we were lucky, because we have seen an old car exhibition near to the Bab al Bahrain souq, which we visited. Here you can best feel the vibe of Bahrain! We visited the Bahrain fort as well, took a walk inside and around. We visited the Museum of Bahrain as our last stop. We did all these with our favourite guide, MAHER, who I can strongly recommend to everybody! We have especially requested Him, and we are so glad, that we did also this trip with him! He was sharing so many information about Bahrain's people, life, traditions, religions, industry. He gave us precious information also in the Museum as well, where he accompanied us and he explained everything step by step. He is offering hotel pick-up and drop-off as well. This again was very valuable, because we had our hotel outside Manama and the most guides are not willing to pick anybody of outside the marked area, which is Manama. Aaaand he gave us also something extra, which was not included in the program :)))). If you would like to find out, what, book with him! ;) Again I can only thank you, Maher, most sincerely, for these great days, and for being so professional and kind! You made us to love Bahrain!

Bahrain All Day! - We had an incredible time on our Half Day tour that we quickly turned into All Day with Maher as our resident tour guide and driver. He picked us up from our lodging on time. He communicated with us from the time of booking til pickup. We were a very small group, a total of 3 so we were able to ask questions and get in and out of places pretty quickly. We enjoyed a traditional lunch as well as a few other snacks and cold fresh drinks along our journey. This tour is perfect for all visitors to include children. The vehicle is very comfortable with nice air conditioning. We definitely recommend the all day tour as there is so much to see and do. One of my favorite stops was the camel farm. It seemed as if the camels knew Maher personally. The mosque was pretty interesting as well as the tree of life. Maher thanks again for making our short vist to Bahrain so memorable and fun! until next time...Aloha!

Super Great Day Tour of Bahrain - Mr. Maher gave us such a nice day tour. He collected all of my requests and made a great itinerary that we were able to visit as more as we can during the short stay of 10 hours in Bahrain. We were touched by most traditional and modern lives of Bahrain. even got chance to a Hindu temple and a synagogue. I do appreciate Mr. Maher’s guide; and hope one day can revisit Bahrain.

Bahreyn Visit - He explained Bahrain's culture, history and geography to us incredibly well. He had deep knowledge on history, science and technology and he passed it on to us. He was flexible, comfortable in terms of plan. I would definitely recommend him to anyone as a guide.
