• Mgarr Harbour - Upon arriving at Mġarr Harbour, the main port of Gozo, guests will embark on a Jeep tour, promising an unforgettable exploration of Gozo’s stunning landscapes. Each Jeep is driven by an experienced guide who will provide insightful commentary throughout the journey.
• Ghajnsielem Parish Church - The Parish Church of Our Lady of Loreto, a Roman Catholic neo-gothic church, is located in the village of Għajnsielem. Its foundation stone was laid on September 14, 1924, but the church was not completed until the mid-1970s due to several interruptions, particularly during WWII.
• Belle Vedere - From the Qala Belvedere and the courtyard of the “Il-Madonna Tal-Blat” church, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Comino, Cominotto, and the Blue Lagoon. This church faces Comino, and legend suggests it was built so the island’s residents could attend Holy Mass from afar when the sea was too rough for a priest to cross.
• Daħlet Qorrot - Daħlet Qorrot is a quaint inlet nestled between Gozo’s northern cliffs, near the village of Nadur. It features a small pebbly beach, a quayside, and rocky areas. Local fishermen use the cove, having converted cliffside caves into boathouses and storage for their gear. They can often be seen mending nets or repairing their colorful boats.
• Calypso Cave - Located on the western side of Ramla Bay in Xagħra, Calypso’s Cave overlooks the beautiful red sands of Gozo’s finest beach. It is believed to be the cave mentioned in Homer’s Odyssey, where the nymph Calypso kept Odysseus as a “prisoner of love” for seven years.
• Ramla Bay - Known locally as “Ir-Ramla l-Ħamra” (red sands), Ramla Bay is a stunning bay with reddish sand, situated on the island’s northeast coast between Marsalforn and San Blas bays. It is celebrated as one of the most beautiful bays in the Maltese archipelago.
• Ta’ Kola Windmill - Ta’ Kola Windmill is a unique historical site in Gozo, one of the few remaining windmills from the Knights’ period in the Maltese Islands. This 200-year-old structure is a testament to the challenging lives of our ancestors, serving as a vital community hub for producing flour, essential for breadmaking.
• Ggantija Archaeological Park - The megalithic temples of Ġgantija, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980, date back to 3600–2500 BC. These temples are among the world’s oldest free-standing structures, second only to Göbekli Tepe in Turkey, and predate Stonehenge and the Egyptian Pyramids by about 1000 years. The name “Ġgantija” comes from the Maltese word for giant, reflecting the belief that giants built the site due to its massive limestone blocks.

The entrance fee to the Ġgantija temples is not included in the package price; visitors will have free time to explore them if desired.

• Rotunda St. John Baptist Church - Constructed between 1952 and 1979, the Rotunda of Xewkija is one of Gozo’s most iconic churches, featuring the third highest unsupported dome in the world.
• The Citadel - At the heart of Gozo’s capital lies the majestic mediaeval fortress known as “Iċ-Ċittadella” (The Citadel). With its distinctive skyline and impressive military architecture, this ancient structure is Gozo’s major landmark, visible from across the island.

Inhabited since the Bronze Age, The Citadel’s site is believed to have been the acropolis of the Punic-Roman city of Gaulos. During the mediaeval period, it was transformed into a castle, serving as a refuge for Gozo’s population. By the 15th century, a suburb developed outside its walls, forming the historic core of Victoria.

• Knight’s Wash House - Built in the 16th century by the Knights of St. John, these well-preserved public washhouses are carved into a cliff near a natural spring. Featuring a simple irrigation system, they continue to provide clean water and are still used by locals for laundry.

• Xlendi Bay - Xlendi is a charming and popular coastal town in Gozo, known for its picturesque small bay surrounded by scenic cliffs.

• Dwejra Bay - Located on Gozo’s western shore, Dwejra Bay is a geological and ecological treasure. Its diverse surroundings offer a blend of geology, landscape, fauna, habitats, shorelines, seascapes, archaeology, flora, and history, making it a memorable destination.

• Inland Sea - Dwejra Bay is also famous for its Inland Sea, a small bay encircled by high cliffs and connected to the open sea by a 65-meter-long natural tunnel. This impressive formation is awe-inspiring. Weather permitting, visitors can take a short boat trip through the tunnel for a small fee, not included in the package price.

• Ta’ Pinu National Shrine - On the outskirts of Għarb, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’ Pinu, also known as “Il-Knisja tal-Mirakli” (The Miracle Church), is a spectacular landmark. While the basilica’s architecture and surroundings are beautiful, the stories of miracles associated with it are truly captivating.

Inside, the shrine’s walls are adorned with letters, crutches, and other items left by those who believe they received miracles through the Blessed Virgin Mary of Ta’ Pinu.

• Ta’ Ġurdan Lighthouse - “Ta’ Ġordan” Lighthouse is an active lighthouse situated on a hill above the village of Għasri on Gozo’s northern coast.
• Xwejni Salt Pans - Traveling north, visitors will enjoy a scenic route through the countryside leading to the Xwejni Salt Pans on Gozo’s northern coast.

These salt pans are a captivating landmark, preserving an ancient trade and skill while harvesting one of Gozo’s vital natural resources. The chequerboard pattern and reflective pools of Xwejni’s salt pans are a dynamic sight. Spanning several kilometers, they are managed by three salt farmers.

Salt mining has been a tradition in Malta for centuries, with large clusters of salt pans carved into the rocky coastline. These pans collect seawater during the colder months, and as the water evaporates in the sun, the salt is harvested by hand. The harvesting season runs from April to August, with workers busy twice a week.

• Wied il-Mielah Window - The “Wied il-Mielaħ” Window is a natural limestone arch on Gozo’s north-western coast. This seaside rock formation, resembling a large window, is accessible via a long stairway with a guardrail.
• Marsalforn Bay - Marsalforn Bay, located in northern Gozo, is a popular spot known for its numerous seaside restaurants and stunning views.

• The return journey to Malta will be done on one of our boats, passing by the beautiful island of Comino and catching glimpses of the famous Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and the Sea Caves (the boat transfer is always subject to weather conditions and other operational considerations; in the event that this is not feasible, the return trip will be done by using the communal Gozo Channel ferry).
• The provider reserves the right to utilise any 4x4 Jeeps/UTV’s from its fleet based on availability and operational circumstances, which may differ from those featured in the photos.
