Depending on traffic, the drive takes about 1.5 hours to reach Malaysia’s historic port and trading post along the Malacca Strait. A notable landmark in Malacca is the Dutch Square, featuring the iconic pink-colored Stadthuys, a testament to Dutch colonial influence and a key reason for Malacca’s UNESCO designation in 2008.
• Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - Nearby, the Red Church with its operational clock tower and the Queen Victoria Fountain offer numerous photo opportunities to capture memories of the day before proceeding to the Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest active Chinese temple in the country.
